Yup. It starts on the fourth page and seems to happen every time there's an f followed by an i. Apostrophes also looks kind of wonky, but I can't tell if it's bad kerning or just me seeing it because I've already noticed the "fi " thing.

Actually, SAO did come first. The light novels were around way before .hack//. .hack// is still the superior thing. It's rare for the something be better than what it's ripping off, but .hack// is so good that it did it anyway.
