That's not important, leave it alone.
You're certainly picking the tough tasks. The floor acts like a trampoline on an ice rink, or like something they've been working on for years at Disneyland. [Psst! You can look around the room again if you think you may have missed something. I'd also suggest checking your Inventory.] [EDIT: Release 59 gave me a different result for this one. It is as follows.] It dances by you like a thing possessed.
I don't know the word "roll". [Psst! Because I've played this game countless times and don't wanna see you guys die again, y'all can find an HTML transcription of the original InvisiClues Hint Booklet here.]
Spiderman Messy.
You lunge for it, but the room spins nauseatingly away. The floor gives you a light tap on the forehead.
Personally, I think that Natasha Smirnov fits Nova to a T, but that's only my opinion. If Misty were a lesbian beekeeper, she'd probably be either Ellen Page or Eva Blaninger. I also kind of imagine Jiku as Petra Brice.
You must tell me how to do that to your curtains.
I don't know the word "retrieve".
Good start to the day. Pity it's going to be the worst one of your life. The light is now on. Bedroom The bedroom is a mess. It is a small bedroom with faded carpet and old wallpaper. There is a washbasin, a chair with a tatty dressing gown slung over it, and a window with the curtains drawn. Near the exit leading south is a phone. There is a flathead screwdriver here. There is a toothbrush here.
Very difficult, but you manage it. The room is still spinning. It dips and sways a little.

The thread that started it all. This is a thread where we will play text adventures. You guys do the input and I'll do every single thing you say in the game, then post the results one command at a time. At the beginning of each session I'll copy and past the description of the current game from its page on TV Tropes. I also urge everyone to take this as seriously as you can. It's no fun if some dick just goes ahead and gets us killed every time we play the game. That's pretty much it. We're going to start with one of the best remembered text adventures of all time, an adaptation of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. With that, let's begin! THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY Infocom interactive fiction - a science fiction story Copyright (c) 1984 by Infocom, Inc. All rights reserved. Release 59 / Serial number 851108 Adapted for forum use by Keyblade Spirit (Square Enix-chan at the time of posting) You wake up. The room is spinning very gently round your head. Or at least it would be if you could see it which you can't. It is pitch black.
So you have wished it, so it shall be.
Unable to process the request. I will continue as soon as I've decided whether or not I should make a proper thread in The Playground. It'll probably end up being called KHV Plays Text Adventures and then just begin with Hitchhiker like in this thread. When we finish or decide we're done, we can vote on another. That's all just an idea, though. If you wanna continue in this thread, just say so.
***END OF SESSION*** (Psst, anyone who wants to try again can just say so. I'll ignore Jiku's posts this time.)
Your score is 0 of a possible 400, in 5 turns. Would you like to start over, restore a saved position, or end this session of the game? (Type RESTART, RESTORE, or QUIT): >
You nod off and are wakened briefly a few hours later as your home is unexpectedly demolished to make way for a new bypass. You are seriously injured in the process, but on your way to the hospital a fleet of Vogon Constructor ships unexpectedly arrives and demolishes the Earth to make way for a new hyperspace bypass. Next time, try turning on the light. We are about to give you your score. Put on your peril-sensitive sunglasses now. (Hit RETURN or ENTER when ready.) >
You are now in the bed. You'll have to do that yourself.
I don't know the word "back". I don't know the word "fall".
You can't go that way.
