    just to make sure..
Jaden, did you or did you not see Rafael's post on not giving up if you do lose?
also, do you remember Rafael saying he gave up before or after you posted this?

if they happened simultaneously, how could he have read Jaden's post before saying he gave up?[DOUBLEPOST=1351039923][/DOUBLEPOST]
if he quit first, why would he still care to respond to your PM?

Edit: more importantly, he would have understood why you gave up.

from what I read, it wouldn't have made any sense for Jaden to have responded to your PM in that manner if he posted that he quit dueling first.. so there should be no way of that even being apart of why you gave up on teaching him. what I think most likely happened first was you telling Jaden you give up.
I'll hear your half of the story though, so do tell.

from what I'm reading, Jaden built a deck after Rafael taught him the basics of building one. as a teacher, if you see something wrong after teaching something to someone, you don't just go and say you give up. you're supposed to correct them on their mistakes so that they hopefully don't make the same mistakes again.

it wouldn't have made sense if Jaden was the one who gave up first since he wouldn't have responded to Rafael giving up in that manner if that was what really happened, so the only possibly answer would be that Rafael gave up first.
I declare Rafael guilty! >.> *bangs hammer*

I'm pretty sure we gave you reasons on why you didn't suck before we stopped doing that.
putting that aside, I would like to hear Rafael's side of the story about this. it would also help if I saw the conversation.

even after I asked if you were sure about accepting my challenge? you could have declined until you got better.

what really happened was Rafael offered to help you train to get better so you don't suck, you said you'd think it over, then we talked about Slaughter. right after that, you started to say that we wanted you to come back just so that we can have a weak opponent to beat on and Rafael still said he wanted to help you despite the fact that you turned around and said that.. then you just continued and claimed that Rafael was spreading lies about you.
eventually, you accepted Rafael's offer to help you get better, but almost immediately gave up after that.

    I have the evidence.
    ---------------------------

it was not Rafael who gave up on you, it was you who gave up on yourself.
and looking over all these quotes, you should notice that Rafael did not "immediately give up on you, he actually kept trying.
so stop saying it like you're the only one who put very hard work into something and got disrespect in return because from the looks of it, Rafael put in quite a bit of effort into helping you get better and got disrespect in return as well.
and it's not just Rafael. we all tried to help you.

I feel like you guys just overkilled on the situation. at the same time, I feel that Jaden needs to understand that we've treated him the way he wanted to be treated, and he didn't like it. I would dig for the post about him not wanting us to build him up in response to:
but that's not worth it due to the amount of time needed to do that.
