Haven't seen any. When you first enter the battle, your character (Aqua, Ven, or Terra) is looking left and right, then in front of them, some kind of black darkness ball appears, and Vanitas Silhouette pops out. Then you run for your life. =X It's kind of like the Phantom or Kurt Zisa battles, or the previous Silhouettes.
I chose to look past the re-use of the Vanitas design. It might not be as "mysterious" as Lingering Sentiment, but hey, it's something? On another note, THIS GUY IS INSANE. It looks harder to beat than fighting five LS bosses at once. o.o!

Spoiler From what I've seen, I don't think memories play a very important role in BBS, seeing as the theme of this game is "bonds". From the looks of it, I don't think Ven goes under much of any "memory washing," at least I haven't seen any. Also, consider this; does Mickey even know what Roxas looks like? They don't seem to be mentioned for the simple appearance that their influence isn't obvious. That's the way I see it, anyway.
Terra's keyblade is nowhere in the NTSC version, to my knowledge.
I haven't seen anyone do a single bit of damage on the guy. Nomura said that Spoiler you need a specific deck to beat him, but the deck in question remains a mystery. Likely non-canon, my guess.
I know this. I think it's just easier to call him Spoiler Vanitas rather than something like Spoiler Vanitas' Absent Silhouette. And I can call him whatever I want? o.O

Looking on YouTube, it seems that people keep using Aqua to fight Spoiler Vanitas. I just felt like posting up a vid where, instead of using Aqua, the person decided to use Ven instead. This was the result. End of battle spoiler: Spoiler Not much difference, is there?

Which is why I can't get rid of the thought of it being photoshop'd. I mean, look at that. It practically screams "no effort". I just think they could've made something that a person wouldn't be able to do with photoshop in about five minutes. =/

Nomura said that even not entirely finishing the game will leave you mostly clueless if you go ahead and watch the secret ending. Said that you miss a huge part to it. So, I STRONGLY suggest not watching it. Atleast, not until understanding the rest of the game.
