I have your sulution I don't know if its on vista but i know its on XP In normle mode go to start/Accsesories/System tools/Restore/ Click "restore my computer to a previouse date" Then you'll see a calender pick a date right before you got the file hit next then hit yes or whatever and then what the computer does is return to the state it was on that date So it should get rid of your bad file and stop the BSOD's
