"I never knew that. I'm so sorry and I'd never hurt you like that. That would be terrible of me."
"Thank you brother. I know you don't like him much but at least you are trying to like him." ooc: Is it ok if I kill him off this time?
"I will. I fully intend to come back to your sister." Maiko kissed him as he left. "Now will you give him a chance Brother?"
"I'll stay with my brother to protect him. Takahiro can go with you. He is a good fighter." "I will be there for you all."
"Stay behind me. Anything could happen." Gharanth crept forward and suddenly ran back, grabbing Twilight and running out just as stakes shot out from the floor. "Nasty."
"Well in my opinion you are the best crew there is and as I am the boss I think you deserve the best ship. She will need a name of course. What do you think would be suitable? I'll let the crew name her."
Something started to creak and the wall began to move. "I have a really bad feeling about this." Gharanth frowned and held his sword ready. ooc: Got to go. Goodnight.
"Well being as to how I head this company now how would you like a promotion and to serve with this crew on the flagship of the fleet? The new ship that I mentioned is being delivered this week and one of my jobs is to employ the crew."
"I'm not sure, trap triggers or just plain unstable. This is a very old temple and I just feel that something is wrong in this area. Just don't wander off to explore."
"Yes thank you, though I sense that all is not well with you. Would you like to talk about it. I have already planned what will happen when I get back. Have you had any thoughts?"
"Why keep a fire demon if you don't use his skills?" Gharanth laughed. "Watch the floor. I have a feeling it is dangerous here."
Clarisse woke early in the morning. She started to boil water to make it safe for drinking and went fishing for breakfast. Most of the others were still asleep and there would be no fancy breakfast on silver plates for them when they woke. She waved at the few people that were awake.
"That would be a good idea. How are you with 6' spiders? I know there must be some here somewhere, there always is!" Gharanth grinned and kissed her. "This will be a piece of cake. Lets see what the next slice looks like."
Clarisse watched him from under the tarpaulin. She was sad that he seemed so dejected and knew that he longed to be back out on the sea again. As soon as they were back safe she would recommend that he be promoted and serve on the new flagship that they were buying along with the captain and his crew. They all deserved to be rewarded and she would see that they were all recognised for their selflessness and courage.
"I honestly have no certain ideas. I only know that this will be a tough test and no one has ever walked away with their life before. Of course we will be the first as no demons have ever taken the tests before."
Definitely. It will be a pleasure helping you and discovering what is on this island. Things will look better in the morning, or at least that was what I was taught."
"Thank you Matt and please call me Clarisse. I am not your superior in any way, just another lost soul who hopes to be rescued. Please join us if you get tired."
"Sadly I think it gets worse. There are the normal animals. The ones further in are monsters. I will endeavour to keep you safe and sound." Gharanth slowly got up. "I seem to be getting stronger again."
"I absorbed a lot of venom so I will take a while to heal. I hate snakes, don't you? Well at least they won't attack us a second time." ooc: Got to go. Goodnight.
"I may be afraid, but I will be there for others. I suppose you still think that I am stuck up and cold? It's alright, you can be honest. I have never been very good at finding the balance between the business me and the social me."
