"You are just giving up on your sister? I won't! Just stand there and sulk or come with me." Takahiro walked to the place where the feathers were and began studying the scene.
"Perhaps you just haven't found your star yet. They have a finite amount of wishes each you know. Maybe if we both wish upon the same star then one of our wishes will be granted. I like to think that there is enough magic and love in the world to make everyone happy, if they can find it."
Clarisse saw what had transpired and smiled. It seemed that there was always hope even in the dark hours. Being stranded was being overshadowed by the young love that was blossoming. She turned towards the interior of the island and began walking. It seemed that she was in the way here.
"Whenever you are I guess. I like the idea of exploring. It will give people some excitement and something to take their minds off feeling sorry for themselves. You should eat breakfast first though. ooc: Got to go. Goodnight.
"Well they say that if you really believe in your dream and wish hard enough then your dreams will come true. Perhaps we should wish upon a star? A shooting one if possible."
Clarisse picked up a burning brand and followed Matt. There would be wild animals around and she would protect him. She prayed that they would find a good cave or easily defended spot.
"I fully intend to live a very long and productive life, leaving behind a family line of my own and a legacy of doing good."
ooc: They are stranded on an island waiting for help. Matt seems to be feeling guilty and Clarisse has dropped her work persona and is proving that she is neither a spoilt brat or a helpless woman. bic: Clarisse took the fish to the area where they were having the fires and lit one. She prepared the fish before cooking them over the fire, speared on sticks. Some of the passengers were behaving like spoilt bats and blaming everyone else for a natural phenomenon. They could get their own breakfast and leave the crew alone as far as she was concerned.
"Well I'm allowed to worry about you so don't stop me. These stakes would impale you had you been in the wrong place. I'm getting too old for all this."
"Then I really must be like you. I'll make sure that you are comfortable and looked after. We are better off with you healed."
"I need to stay behind to look after you, my brother. I have just discovered you and you aren't leaving me now." Maiko smiled at him. "Besides, you need a servant at the moment."
"Well the best thing we can do is follow the trail and find out. Who's coming?" "You are right as usual my brother."
"I just want to get to know my brother. I am no noble and never will be. I'm just me."
"You make it sound as if I really missed out. I am here now and I have a brother. The only thing that I regret is that I never grew up with you. I never knew are parents so I can't honestly say that I really miss them."
"I'll definitely go with you. Perhaps I can learn a bit more about who I am. I want to know if the real me is the farm worker or not?"
Maiko looked down. "I don't even know what she was really like. I really know very little about my heritage and little about who I should be."
"I wanted to protect that which is precious to me. We can pass now the stakes are raised." Gharanth smiled at his bad pun. Watch yourself with the points and splinters."
"That's why I want you to name her. You know what will fit the best ship on the water. I'm not a maritime girl so I'd rather ask someone who has the sea in their blood. It would be nice. I hope you don't mind helping me."
I know I am. You deserve the best so that is what you will get."
"You really are a lovely man Koza. You will soon find the right girl. It will be wonderful then."
