Clarisse kept an eye on Matt. He was tough but survival brought out repressed memories and hidden fears. She had been brought up a lot more toughly than Matt could ever imagine. Her family really did believe in survival of the fittest to the point they almost took it literally. When she got back things would change for the better.
"So what was all that about? I'm sorry but I have no idea what all that was about. I have been a warrior since I can remember and I have never experienced anything that weird."
"That sounds like a great idea. I guess it's quite a way to walk. Where exactly are we going? I know the doctor and the house but you never said exactly where they were."
Gharanth did as he was told. "Want to explain what's going on? I rarely surrender, and certainly not to ghosts!"
Gharanth surrounded them with a wall of darkness to keep the ghosts back. . I don't think that will hold forever but it will give us time to work out how these are dispelled. Any ideas?"
Gharanth frowned. "Why is it always warriors? Can't we have bunnies for a change? Ok then, have it your way." He drew his flame sword.

Gharanth reached out to grab her arm "Don't struggle." He caught hold of her and lay across the floor, holding her with his might. "Use me to climb up I will act as a support. You won't hurt me so don't be timid. I'll help as much as I can."
I really love your new style and the last one is the best to me. The first two are nice but seem flat and a little dead as there is a lot of block colour. The last one is really three dimensional and would not be out of place is a professional print set. The transparent parts add to this and make it a triumph. You are definitely back nra!
Maiko stopped and sank to her knees. She knew that so far her life was sliding downwards out of control. She wanted something good and wondered if the family home was a place where she could settle and maybe pick her life back up. She heard a cart approaching but didn't bother to turn or get up.

Maiko walked along the road, determined to walk off her anger and frustration. They didn't understand that she needed time to grieve. All for this stupid family that she never knew but seemingly had to drop her life for. The more she thought about it the more she hated the family. Why had she been dragged into this mess? She looked down and glared at the floor.
"Fine, I'll leave then. I obviously am not allowed to show respect for the dead. I will see this house but it is no home to me, remember that brother." Maiko got up and ran out towards the road.
Maiko knelt at the grave. "I will catch up with you. Carry on ahead without me."
"Somehow I think he already knew. He wanted to marry me and settle down. Is that really so bad? He wanted your approval though." Maiko waited quietly then piped up "Where are we going next?"

"It's alright Matt, if you want to stay with Raina if you like. I won't separate you love birds. I think it's sweet."
Maiko went to help Koza. "It seems that he is helping bring us together in his own way. I will miss him."
