sam looked at the keyhole and saw a paper clip on the floor she knew she didn't know how to pick locks so instead she picked it up and ben the pointy bit out and started carving letters in the door amy walked over curious at what sam was doing and looked at the words sam was carving it read "flowers in the" "flowers in the what sam?" amy asked "watch and find out"sam said carving in the last word "flowers in the attic? but there aren't any flowers up here"amy said "i meant us"sam replied "i'm gonna get everyone to write their names around my sentence"
sam suddenly stopped "amy i just want to say sorry for upsetting you earliar we probably will get out i was just uh well actually i don't know what got into me" sam said "thats ok"amy said smiling "well thats good now down the stairs"sam said walking down the stairs smiling amy followed lauren looked longingly at the blood then dragged herself down the stairs
lauren sighed and drank some of the blood sam started drinking too she knew that this was a free drink then stopped "wait stop" sam said amy stopped drinking "why? this is the only drink we have around here"amy said "because i know this sounds dumb but we'll crave more and more and in the end eat each other"sam said lauren couldn't stop herself but she laughed "eat each other good one"she said patting sam on the back "i wasn't kidding"sam said "so shall we go back down stairs see if i can find something for my foot sam said walking to the stairs
sam gave a hard tug then the gun slipped from her grip and she fell to the floor and her eyes went watery "i-i'll just be a minute i have something in my eye"sam said running upstairs as quickly as she could amy walked and stood where sam had been standing and looked how close the bullet had been from sams foot but it looked like it had skimmed her toes amy walked to lauren again "i think sam actually got shot"she whispered and shivered slightly "ok amy i'll go check on her"lauren said she walked up stairs and saw a puddle of blood around sams foot "you ok? let me see your foot"lauren said sam took her shoe off and revealed a few ayers of skin had been torn away "well at least we all have something to drink"sam said quietly her face was tar stained she grabbed laurens arm and dragged her to the bottom of the stairs forgetting her shoe if anyones thirsty theres a drink upstairs"sam called down amy ran upto the room "where?" she asked "right there" sam said pointing to the puddle of blood amy bent down and drank some of it ooc:i have to go now i'll be back tommorrow see you later and good night
lauren walked back down the stairs with amy amy was gripping onto lauren as hard as she could sniffing loudly "gimme that gun"sam said tugging as hard as she could
"NO!"sam shouted "you onlyy want it from me because i'm 8 years old but i can look after myself!"sam said angrily trying to pull the gun out of Tsuyoshi's hand
sam got up and reached for the gun again and instead pointing it at herself she aimed at the floor "heres hoping it kills dad"sam shouted but stumbled as she pulled the trigger and the window smashed she aimed for the floor again and pulled the trigger but there were no bullets "ok who has bullets?"sam asked
"because she isn't right in the head she's mental she's nuts she's lost her head"sam said "any of those reasons say why she won't let us out ever"
lauren started to take amy upstairs "oh come on i'm a year younger than amy she's just a wuss and you know theres no way outta here!"sam said then saw the gun on the floor "actually let me rephrase that theres no way to get the body out of here"sam said and bent down to pick up the gun lauren saw sam and took off her shoe and threw it at sam sam fell over and the gun slid across the floor out of reach lauren took amy the rest of the way up the stairs
"sorry but its true we're stuck no way out its like i said earliar he'll never die even if he did mum would probably die first then we really would be stuck here"sam said lauren walked over to sam and slapped her "snap out of it we will get out of here we just have to wait"lauren said a tear fell down amys face she didn't want to be stuck up here with no way out "its ok amy don't listen to sam she's just gone a little bonkers she's been up here too long"lauren said soothingly "why are you lying to her lauren theres no way out and you know it but do you see me a year youngerthan her crying cause i don't"sam said amy burst into a fit of tears "sam! now look what you've done you've really got her spirits down but trust me we'll get out of this"lauren said giving amy a hug and glared at sam sam turned silent
sam walkedto the door and kicked it as hard as she could it barely made a bang she then backed up to the wall and ran as fast as she could at the door withh her head in front of her she hit the door and fell to the floor the door was still un damaged sam felt really dizzy "sam i know you want to leave but its no use what if mum finds you?"lauren asked "you dont get it i had a plan i'll murder dad and come back up here and mum will let us go"sam said "hows your head feeling?"amy asked "fine thanks i was seeing stars but they have vanished now"sam said standing up and walking to the other end of the room she hit the window but it didn't smash "we're going to be here untill we DIE!"sam screamed
"ok i've had enough of this prison we must have been stuck here over a year and i'm tired of it!"sam said "wh-what do you mean?"amy and lauren asked in unison "i mean i'm outta here i'm through with it its either we all get out of here or we all go mental"sam said standing up "you are mental even thinking about this"lauren said "suppose mum found you roaming free then what?"lauren asked "i'll think of something but we've gotta get away from here" sam said "no i'm not going"amy said "its too dangerous where would we go we'd die before we found shelter"amy said
lauren looked at amy and sam "its all right you two we can leave soon"she said looking at both of them who were staring at the door "you said that a long time ago theres no way of keeping track of the date up here but i knw you said that a long time ago"sam complained "sams right face we'll never leave what if mom dies first then who will let us out you really think our grand parents will?"amy said sam stared at amy for a moment "they hate us remember?" "oh...yeah"amy said
