On some of the older PS2's in my house, if you pause it during a cutscene the sound gets a bit off. I don't know if it's the same issue for you, though.
I thought his voice kind of fit, but it was a bit awkward; he doesn't look like he would have such a robotic voice.
I say Xemnas, because he had more of a reason to be evil.
