It doesn't need to. Sonic Blade can help just cancel out Hook's attacks and allow you to stall time.

Don't put yourself down. It's not always easy to make a sig and it takes time to develop. Try to stay away from too many C4Ds and start out simple. Tuts are available, if you can find some. But yeah, try to find high-quality renders.
