Everyone blames the Iraq War and George Bush for our economic troubles in the United States. This is just completely inaccurate. The number one source of our economic distress today, which has become glaringly obvious if you have watched the news lately, is the housing crisis. Bill Clinton started this off with his absolutely absurd idea to open up Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to giving out loans to people who would never be able to pay them off. They had a field day, and low and behold, we have our housing crisis. George Bush even tried to stop it in 2003, but the Democrats managed to have it turned down. John McCain even tried to stop it in 2005 by proposing legislation, but again the Democrats had it turned down. All the while, Barack Obama got the most amount of money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac out of all the politicians in the country, second only to Chris Dobb, the Democrat in charge of overseeing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. And now his wife Hillary wants to put on top of this several hundred billion dollar bailout a bailout for all the people who took out these loans, in essence screwing over the average Joe who saves every penny to pay his mortgage. Thoughts?
People in the United States who don't put their hands over their hearts when the pledge is being recited. Every year in school, there are at least two or three people in my homeroom class that do this. Yes, I know you have the right to not do it, but for God's sake, it makes you look like a prick. The least you can do is show a little symbol of how you appreciate those who are dying for your right to do so. Ok rant over. xD

So me and a few friends saw that new Star Wars movie a few weeks ago (it wasn't bad to be honest, but it can't hold a candle to the originals be any means) and we leave the movie pretty content with what we just saw. One of my friends turns around and whispers to me, "What the hell...?" So I turn around and I see this kid coming out in a Cloud Trooper helmet. My other friend facepalms and says "My movie-going experience has been ruined." We all had a good round of lulz.
I like St. Anger. =O I don't see why so many Metallica fans hate it so much. It's no Master of Puppets, but still, I thought it was okay.
