one of my theories were that maybe the people who told you you sucked at everything in the past gave you the idea that you sucked at everything, and now you subconsciously give up before trying even when you think that you are trying, but you're actually not. if we can get you over the idea that you suck at everything, you may be able to actually do things. I say we should eliminate that memory of yours >.> I assume you're influenced quite easily since the same exact thing happened with you and slaughter as well. all we need to do is take out the old one..

I would never have imagined that a hero gate deck would make me have to play serious.. Star actually made those good.. (although lost about four times after I started dueling seriously) but still, it seems he's improved a lot. @ Jaden Of course he'd play better than you with heroes.. how long have you not dueled? he seems to have been training.. there's also a chance that there's another deck out there you may duel better with than with your heroes.

it isn't "too easy" to win, period. it's either too easy to win because you were up against someone weaker than you or the game has too many cheap cards because you lost to someone stronger than you. a dino rabbit deck can lose to fables consistently. does this mean dino rabbits shouldn't have been meta because it lost to a non-meta deck? no, it just means the person playing dino rabbits was not as skilled as the guy playing fables. I have beaten dino rabbits with my scraps, inzektors with my scraps, and very easily chaos dragon with my scraps >.> (although we are talking about my scraps here..) if you want the game to be fun, you should probably play against people of your own level and only go challenge randoms on DN when you're strong enough to be a challenge to any who face you.

To me, it looks like they're kind of trying to give the "old style" some support.. like the continuous spell that makes all tribute summoned monsters you control unkillable and untargettable by card effects but you cannot special summon from the extra deck. you can stack it with the seal of orichalcos to make an extremely hard to get rid of blue eyes white dragon with 3500 atk, since the seal also prevents the controller from special summoning from the extra deck.

well, if you attack it, it'd most likely be dead after the damage step, so.. they can't spam it with books anyway.
well, I see no reason why it wouldn't.. flip effect activates. chain effect veiler. nothing stops it, so it should work.
burn and empty Jar decks.. easy to counter. for burn: Empty Jar: there are a lot more ways to counter those decks, but these are just the more splashable ones.
