Except Malefics are good. EIs builds can be decent. I've lost to Fortune Ladies a lot. and Crystal Abundance OTK is legit. Like Fred said, you're only going to get rustier if you hold off from dueling even longer. We're all not the greatest of duelists, but you're certainly a better one than most of us here. You're just in a rut and need to get out of it. Continue your duel, or just take a simple break and think of combos in the meantime. It's what I did. Hell, I still have that ridiculous first turn SSD combo somewhere in my Inbox. If you're truly serious though, I'll take over as Jaden until you get back, if you want.

I'm almost certain they both showed up in Duelist Kingdom times. I just forget which one is first, might be Fusions iirc. For us who want to stick with beatdown, we were blessed with Disaster Dragon.
RUA'S AWAKENING STARTED PLAYING IN MY HEAD I ONLY THOUGHT INSTANT AWESOME Yet stuff like Elemental Heroes, FGD(Doesn't even have to be summoned), and Photon Twin Lizard are amazing Fusions that are just as useful. The E-Heroes you're thinking of that existed back in that time were the ones like the Neos Fusions or Tempest. The Omni Heroes exist in the era that are just as useful effect-wise, not mostly big monster beatstick-wise. The extra cost isn't painful for them. I'm sorry, I'm just tired of seeing the people eventually make it sound like hardly anything compares to Synchros. Exceeds are growing more ridiculous and Fusions are still keeping up. If anything, the one Card Type that should be bashed is Rituals since outside of Relinquished, Demise, and the Rituas, they're all terrible today.
@Last Comment: Just use Jaden/Yuma hybrid. E-Heroes can Exceed Summon pretty easily, compared to trying to be fit into a Level Varying Deck like Yusei.dek and Synchro Summon.
I'm getting sick of seeing this. Jaden, you don't even need to change your deck because it's still ridiculously consistent here. You yourself have proven that Fusions are just as fast as Syncs in the arena. EDIT: Not to mention the fact that Jaden/Yusei hybird sounds as consistent as GladSworns.

This isn't entirely accurate. As Formula Synchron and Fishborg Blaster fall under that category. Cards that are banned are so stupidly broken that they will provide massive advantage regardless of the number. A single Graceful Charity is so deadly that it'll generate a OTK in nearly any deck used today due to the ridiculous Graveyard Abuse. Painful Choice is worse. And that's just @1. They only begin to win those when a single duelist finds a game breaking combo that can completely destroy the opponent. Like when people exposed the ******ed combo Konami made with Infernity Necromancer, Archfiend, and Launcher. They ruled an entire format due to the simple wording of Archfiend's effect. Konami will start banning cards when the smart duelists take advantage of their stupidity. Konami cleans up their mess AFTER the embarrassment. Not including Emergency Bans. Lightsworns were ridiculous 2-3 formats ago. They got overshadowed by Inzectors and other stuff this format. Lightsworns didn't get touched because Konami is trying to kill them off without banning them. ... That's the only reason I can think of for why those idiots would unlimit Judgment Dragon. Due to the advantage theory, this explains why Pot Of Greed is banned. Anything that can just costlessly get you a game win needs a ban. /: tl;dr - if it's easy game breaking, it's banned
