That comics is all sorts of awesome, yet too disturbing for me to "like" your post for it.
The definition of racism isn' t necessarily hate for race x, double standards can do. By that definition one could argue everyone is racist to some degree.
What if the gun had been real ? Well, what if the cop had fired a warning shot at the ground to show he' s not ****ing around ? Hell, how is he even a danger to anyone with his hands stuck in his pockets, wouldn' t you want him to keep doing that while you go pick the gun ?
What about those NRA morons waving their very real AK47s in everyone' s face ? How come they never get shot first and asked questions later ?

Who cares if your inner wimp can relate, they' ve been trained to know better. If you' re not gonna blame them for disregarding the law I' m not sure what you would blame them for.

Thirty five years old dude here, I like my women more ... women. And experienced. And capable. And made of actual flesh. The list goes on.
Jap-style cartoon characters often look like kids to me, even when they aren' t supposed to be.

Laurence is momentarily unavalaible, gee I wonder why. Kairi looks like a ****ing kid, regardless of what the manual has to say about it.
Even putting that aside she' d still rank pretty high on my do not want list.

Judging from what he says I' m thinking either some sort of persistent world or a real life event.
If I had to take a wild guess I' d bet on a real life event since EMAGON is backwards for NOGAME.

Edit : Herp ! Derp ! Scratch that, I bet it' s Playstation Home 2.

I' ve been weak, I' ve played the fanslation. xD
Gotta warn you : the vid posted above spoils the game big time.

While the graphic overhaul of the PS4 version doesn' t look that impressive I' ll buy it anyway because it will still be a massive improvement due to other factors. See, the PSP version had a lot of multi-player locked missions, holding unique spells and items hostage. While none of those were required to beat the über bosses, clearing those missions also unlocked pages in your compendium. And as it turns out, on its own the plot is utterly nonsensical.

I' ve played the game twice and still have no clue what the **** that was all about. Remember how FF XIII (to some extent) and 3rd Birthday didn' t make any sense if you didn' t bother reading their data files as you unlocked them ? Well same here but, believe it or not, they managed to make it much, much worse. There' s a shitstorm of data to unlock, and you do so in a completely random order. It' s a big jigsaw puzzle mess.

There are minor factors involved (how you answered his questions when you recruited him, how much money you gave him when you summoned him before), but the amount of money you give him is the biggest factor. If you gave him over a million gils and didn' t screw up the minor factors the odds are 100%. If you did screw up the minor factors but gave him over a million gils the odds remain pretty impressive, not sure what the exact percentage is.

I stopped watching it around episode 5. I have the rest in store and intend to watch them sooner or later, but to be honest I was a bit disappointed. Whedon shows used to hook me rather quickly. I couldn' t tell if that one was a slow starter, just not as good as the others, or if I was getting too old for that stuff.

Not trying to ruin anyone' s fun, I' ve already said I' m aware it' s just a movie.
I mean for God' sake I' m a Star Wars fan, does Star Wars look scientifically accurate to you ? Or even logically sound ? xD

    Oh ? Sounds cool.
Dolphins aren' t predators, and they don' t have claws or fangs. Well, they are predators but they don' t play by fighting each other. They don' t need that to become skilled hunters. Dolphin have a capacity for empathy bordering ours, but you can be smart and lack empathy. Tigers and bears aren' t exactly dumb, but if I am to believe the tamers I' ve heard on the matter what I just said totally applies to them. Unless there' s just one and you basically live with it 24/7 from its birth.

I guess it wouldn' t strain suspension of disbelief too much if the guy ordering them around actually was a tamer. As in it' s his/her full time job. And even then it would have its limits. Trying to deal with more than three of those beasts at once would be outright suicidal, and even then you' d have to be extra, extra, extra careful about it. You just don' t casually turn your back on such a creature, too much zeal in its attempt to play with you and your face is gone.

Oh yeah, tons, I skipped some. They were just casually mentioning it, not trying to point out a plot hole they knew full well wasn' t one.
Tamed as in you can order them around.

Dude, relax, they wrote that article for the sake of talking about actual paleontology.
They' re actually excited about it, of course it' s just a ****ing movie. ^^

    About that one though :
They weren' t categoric on that one.
What they said is that many have tried to tame lizards or reptiles across the board. Ever heard of someone who pulled it off ?

While I love the series I' m not sure it has any tale left to tell. Same with Valkyrie Profile, I love the series but Covenant of the Plume proved its plot is done. They buried Parasite Eve so deep even moles can' t find it, and they already have some mobile crap in store for Mana. I would really, really love some Vagrant Story 2, but I can' t imagine them letting Matsuno helm it so ... nevermind. No one cares about SaGa anymore. Let' s see, what' s left, Final Fantasy Tactics maybe ? Star Ocean ? I' d mention TWEWY but I think Nomura is busy enough as it is.

For each scenario there is a set of possible actions. Each has its own outcome, the best decision is the one leading to the best outcome.
But then of course the trick is to define "best". We all strive to live a happy life. We pursue things that make us happy and avoid things that do not. We act morally when the happiness of others make us happy. It' s the contract that makes living in society useful to begin with.

Treat others as you would like them to treat you. Most kids quickly find that out through social games. They see what happens when they blatantly cheat. I have two parents, two sisters and got sent to school, interacting with others naturally molded my behavior. Around age 10 my parents sent me to catechism. Although I never truly bought the idea of a God it molded my morality more than I ever realized it myself. When I joined this forum a few Christians threw their misconceptions on atheists at me (atheists have no morals etc ...). That was a first for me, it prompted me to introspection. I started watching a lot of vids on that topic on youtube. Shows like the Atheist Experience. That' s what made me realize how much nonsensical Christian tenets I had internalized and why they were nonsensical. Good riddance.

Unfortunately, predicting the outcome of each set of actions isn' t exactly a hard science. More like a trial and error thing. My morality is a work in progress. Besides, I don' t always have the time to give it that much thought, not to mention my emotions don' t give a flying **** about logic. I have no mortal enemy and no criminal record, so I guess I' m not doing too bad ?

Looks like I don' t remember the movie as well as I thought I did. What gave, he stole the second key ? He hacked the whole thing ? Even took the time to leave a lovely gif to troll them ? Yeah, sounds real tight.[DOUBLEPOST=1417285623][/DOUBLEPOST]By the way, I stumbled upon an article written by a couple of French paleontologists, listing the discrepancies between what can be seen in the trailer and what we now know about those dinosaurs. Here' s the gist of it :

    - The pack of lil' Ornithomimosaurs seen at the beginning is quite accurate. Like the T-Rex they' re from the Cretacic though, not the Jurassic.

    - The Stegosaurus and the Diplodocus never coexisted.

    - They' re a bit disappointed to once more see Diplodocuses everywhere considering the vast amount of species that never made it into the movies. Not to mention they have S shaped necks, which we now know were much straighter.

    - The shark-eating creature is an aquatic reptile, not a dinosaur per se. Just like Pteranodons are flying reptiles, not dinosaurs. It' s probably inspired from the Mosasaurus, well known by American paleontologists since several of them have been found in the US. The biggest ones were 20 meters long, that one looks more like 40 meters long.

    - Judging from its foot the unknown big baddie is of the Theropod family. Rumor says that one is albinos.

    - No, Velociraptors can' t be tamed. And they had feathers, that much isn' t up to debate anymore. The third movie already took a step in that direction so this is a step back.

    - Mosquitoes can' t pierce dinosaur skin, and there was no amber around back then.

The fact that so much power was left to a single person to begin with is one of the mistakes I had in mind.
