You are so lucky. I tried to get into art class for at least one trimester this year, and there were absolutely NO open spaces (so said the counselor...).
I had surgery once....and it was for the weirdest reason ever. There was this weird lump in my armpit and no one could figure out what it was. So when we went to the doctor they told me that I had breast tissue growing under my armpit or something or other. So when I asked what that meant they said that if I didn't get rid of it I would have another...well...yeah.... Thank GOD they got rid of that. But now my armpit is still numb, and that happened two years ago.
Yeah that hand always bugged me but no matter what I did it never looked quite right. And I never really noticed that about the arms, but now that you mention it they really do need an elbow to 'seperate them' I gues. Yeah I hate the eyes to. It's just that I'm so used to drawing anime that I couldn't draw them the way they actually looked. And as for the ears, I thought they didn't fit in proportionally, but I was always afraid they were to low o.0 So thanks ^^ Thanks! Yeah I know...I have a tendency to be really lazy...and actually I always thought the tail looked the worst.
Oh wow that's awesome! Wish I had a ball point pen to... You should so make his hair brown with black at the tips, or something similar. That would be way cool... Very nice ^^

Alrighty, I drew Ariel from the little mermaid and yes it is the pose from the KH2 cheat book. Anyways, I know the background could be improved. I was just too lazy to draw anything in the blue areas....am I the only one who thinks I gave her an anime-ish face? Comments and constructive critisism (sp?) highly appreciated. :)
Where the shirt meets the neck seems kind of funky to me and the hair is just a tad off. Aside from that it's very nice ^^
Our school has trimester's, so there are five classes a year but each is longer. We also get about 1.5 more classes than we did with trimesters. 1st Trimester: 1.World History 2.Business Tech (BST) 3.Intro. Biology 1 4.Geometry 5.Girl's Health 2nd Trimester: 1. Intro. Biology 2 2. Geometry 3. English 9 4. Spanish 1 5. World Studies 3rd Trimester: 1. Spanish 1 2. BST 3. English 9 4. Girl's PE 5. World Studies And what is stupid is that World Stuides and World History are both required to graduate but at the moments everyone is doing the same exact projects and learning the same things, so I will learn it all twice.
