But then Lancelot betrayed Arthur and the kingdom was plunged into darkness. Lancelot is now king and he is a tyrant, killing innocents and stealing from all. Now each of the children's birthdays are 3 days away and evil grows closer and closer. Spitting out grass, Kagashii took the boys hand and stood up. He turned to the girl and grinned, rubbing a hand on the back of his neck. "Are you kidding? If my head were any harder they could use it as a cannonball!"

Kagashii, being the clumsy idiot that he was, hit his head going under a low branch and went flying. He skidded to a stop in front of a girl and a boy. "ow," he mumbled through a mouthful of dirt and grass. The two wolves ran up after he landed.
William nodded and stood up. Other than him wavering a bit he stood strong. "I'm better," he said wearily.

William came to just enough to pull something out of his pocket. It was a needle which he jabbed into his chest and inserted the liquid inside into himself. The results were almost instantaneous. He relaxed a bit more and his breathing was deeper.
The bell rang for recess and Kagashii ran outside. Without even pausing, Fell crouched and Kagashii jumped. He landed gracefully on his back and they took off running, Larka and Fell's side.
William stirred and coughed once more.
