Knuckles had punched through a robot when turned around to see the strange figure, "thanks, we need any help we can get" he answered before smashing another one that shot at him. Tails fired missles at some about to attack some civilians
"Sonic, Shadow, lets get rid of these guys before we take on Eggman!" Knuckles advised running towards a robot that had landed on a parked car and smashed it. Tails jumped into his tornado as it transformed to battle mode and went off after a few in another direction
"his own,.....ULTIMATE LIFEFORMS!??" Knuckle said in shock "not on my watch" he said lifting his fists. the a large shadow started to envelop the city, it was the egg carrier unleasing tons of Eggman's robots onto the city below
if you help Sonic you'll come in when robots attack the city, if you're with Eggman he'll let you loose on the city later
