Lament looked back at him. " Oh um high."
" Ok. I see you later then." Lament said.
" Oh uh... no not at all." Lament said.
Diana kept laughing.
" So now what?" Lament asked.
" It's ok, don't worry about it." Lament said.
" It's ok, it just scared me." Lament said.
Diana laughed watching Zane run, trying to catch up with the shark.
Lament smiled, her plan had worked. " So you didn't take one of my potions?" Lament asked acting all inocent and sweet.
" These idiots we're going the wrong way." Panthera said to Diana, both of them sitting on the shark. " Well I don't want to tell them, the'll be so mad at me for not telling them before." Diana said to him in a hushed tone.
One of Laments eye brows raised. " Wow that's kind of scary I mean, I didn't know that one of my potions could do that. And I know I didn't make one to do that. Something must have gone wrong. That's very scary what if one of my other potions are defective. Someone could really get hurt. I'm terribly sorry that one of my potions did that to you. Maybe I shouldn't make potions anymore. I guess I just wasn't meant to make them." Lament said completely lieing, not one of her potions have ever malfunctioned in the 200 years she's been making them. So now she just wanted to figure out what had really happened to him by making him feel bad.
" Well all I heard was that you wanted the spirits to tell you something, then you said something about getting something back. But it didn't sound like you, it was like.....someone else." Lament said.
" Not exactly. You kinda went crazy and started breaking trees and challenging the spirits, they were about to kill you. " Lament said, leaving out the part about him attacking her.
A small smile creeped across Lament's face as she heard him waking up.
Diana then realized something, " Hey don't you have a natural sense of direction?" She asked Panthera. " Yup I just want to see how long it will take them to finally figure out which way is north." He said to her. She couldn't help but chuckle.
" See ya." Lament said.
Diana watched the guys bickering from a couple feet away. " Men." She mumbled. " Humans are so weird. " Panthera said. " Hey!" Diana said looking down at him. " You know what I meant."
" Oh you know just. So much has happened, it's a lot to take in." Lament said.
The smile on her face slowly faded and she sighed.
She smiled softly and said, " Thanks."
