I was told we should start by the person who started this thread, so here it goes. Reed walked through the forest, his phoenix perched on his shoulder. Shouts echoed from tree to tree. Angry shouts. Murderous shouts... "Why do they still follow me? I do not wish any trouble, but if they continue like this, I will kill them," Reed muttered. The phoenix on his shoulder gave a squark. "Shut up! You'll give away our position!" Reed admonished. But it was too late. "He's over there!" yelled one of the angry mob. Reed started to run, gaining even more speed. But a cliff plummeted below. Instead of slowing however, Reed sped up and jumped, black bat-like wings spreading from inbetween his shoulders. The villagers stopped at the edge, a few windmilling to keep balance. "At least I got rid of them. Why do they hate my kind?" Reed wondered.

Well, this idea of infinite universes compliments yours. Every action does leave a little mark on the universe. Maybe not significant, but the present is made by the past. The future is just possibilites.

Well, the fictional character would be real since it is a possibility, and according to this idea, there are infinite numbers of universes, covering every possibility. And we wouldn't feel enslaved because we wouldn't know that we did this because of fate. We would think it's our choice

It's kind of scary. That means you have no free will because you're just acting one way because another one of you in another universe is acting differently. No choice. And then there's the fact that it means you are destined to get hurt and there's no avoiding it.
They aren't meant to be takien litteraly. They are like metaphors, telling you to follow the right way. You don't litteraly "turn the other cheek" when someone does something wrong.
