This is a sad case of people overreacting to something. This is a story and if anyone thinks that by writing names in a book they can actually kill someone they need some serious help. Trouble is that this may spark a knee jerk reaction. If something bad happens then the Powers That Be have to blame something and yet again animé and console games will be pointed at with the irrational cry of "Evil". Lets face it, we all played some form of superhero or 'cops and robbers' games when we were little but we are not serial killers. It's about time people learned to separate fantasy from reality.
They did honestly!
Nope! I'm British, whats your excuse?
UK wins out. It's a cool place to live!
Good advice if needed XDDD
I am cute really!!
There are a few of us on GMT.
8/10 A little predictable.
All I can say is
Hi there and welcome. Love your avvie. I'm a UK person as well. Have fun and enjoy your time here! :ff10sora:
Ok, at a guess (I'm bad at this so don't kill me) I'm saying your name is Katherine.
That is one awesome tree! Want the tree topper! *drools*
Smile and wave boys, smile and wave!
I don't think you can actually enforce spelling as this could be counted as discrimination due to conditions that effect the function and perceptions of the brain. It is a very grey area between setting such absolute levels and being reported for discrimination (over here it comes under the Disability Discrimination Act I believe). On a slight point I have read a lot of people moaning that they cannot find a RP good enough join and yet none of them has taken the initiative until now to really create one with a sample post. By the way, I am typing this post with only one hand due to a dislocated shoulder so it is possible to type reasonably if you take time and concentrate hard enough without dyslexia or a similar condition. Text talk is sloppy and in many cases unreadable. I dislike it in User Names as well but some people seem to find this acceptable. It's a case of different things for different people. The hardest (I would say impossible) job is to find a happy medium. You can please some people some of the time but not all the people all of the time, so a compromise is probably the best option. How about a subsection for 'casual RPs' which the less hard core RPers could post their threads in and another for the more serious 'hard-core' RPers? That might work as they need not cross paths then.
True, and personal insults add no weight to your discriminatory argument . Sousherei is a respected member of this site. I always believe that if someone has to resort to personal 'mud slinging' they have already lost the point and their argument. May I politely suggest you tone down these insults before you get into real trouble and possibly banned? I may not agree with everything I see written or made but I fully respect the people who have made the effort to make these. Such narrow mindedness will not gain you any respect. Nice picture GIIIIIIIIIRLZ :D, is it one of your new drawings? It is very beautifully drawn. You are very talented. No, they don't offend me in the least as these are very artistically drawn and highly creative.
Such eloquence! People will always make AMVs to entertain, either themselves or others and such AMVs are inevitable. Many people get footage from this very site and their interpretation of a good AMV may not match yours. Gender orientation is not really that relevant a matter as the characters are electronic signals and pixels, not real people. I agree totally with Soushirei and Stardust. I you don't like the AMV don't watch it and watch something else.
I remember you from your awesome posting though you probably don't remember me. It's cool to see you around. Welcome back to a cool member.
I can write with reasonably good grammar and spelling and have written reviews for a professional website. I come here to relax. There are less accomplished story writers, graphic artists and console gamers as well and this used to be the one forum that resisted the conformation to the elitism that will occur here. KHV already has elitism, and this will help it.
I really don't see why we have to compete in something that is supposed to be an enjoyable form of storytelling. That's probably why I do most of my RPing on another site now. I don't feel I should have to prove anything. It's a sad point when everything has to be competitive and is a good reason why I am seriously considering leaving this site. Only one form is championed and everyone else's style tends to be rubbished. Oh well, there goes the neighbourhood and free expression. Is it going to get to the point where we are told how to RP? If so I feel this forum has really lost its way.
Wow, Really cool video. The black and white adds to the atmosphere. 5/5
