Now that he was in a higher floor, he finally felt light on his skin. It was warm and comfortable, though exposing; a polar opposite to the basement floors, where the cold darkness could hide one away. He also caught quite a few scents on this floor. It was a special ability of his, one he took much more pride in than some mere tricks he could perform while reading. He recognized Xigbar somewhere around there, with a scent of gunpowder and something like starlight (The senior's element was space, after all), and the rather soothing yet sharp scent of various herbs and flowers, somehow layered with a very small reek of death, meant that Marluxia was about. There were about...around five others, but he hadn't gotten enough time to acquaint himself with them. Not like he wanted to, anyway; he wasn't the chatty sort on most occasions. The question was, who should he talk to? He didn't trust Marluxia in the slightest, but Xigbar was an imbecile. Besides, maybe a truce with the Graceful Assassin would prove useful for finding out how to dispel those false emotions from the Superior. As he walked through the floors he came upon a few new members, who appeared to be having some sort of conversation. He quickened his pace, attempting to get past them before he was noticed.
Has one ever wondered what an absolutely pointless and insane chase scene looks like? Well, search no further, for Rin was currently in one. Ducking around and across hallways, all of which were lavishly decorated with various royal items, he was slowly but surely making his way to the king's floor. That is, if the two guards that had spotted him, and weren't busy with the capture of the scholar, didn't get to him first. Taking a sharp turn at a corner, he swerved around and began to run towards the next flight of white marble stairs. The guards, with the armor and such, were surprisingly close behind him; they seemed to have been trained quite well, being the king's warriors and all. However, he only needed to head up these stairs and then the king's throne would be there. Well, not immediately; it was more like the hall leading to the door to the king's throne room. Rin felt quite grateful that the priests had taught him about the layout of the castle, just in case the king was in need of help. However, it seemed quite doubtful to him that such a day would come; the guards did seem to be extremely skilled. But if they were the skilled ones, then maybe the warriors of his temple were stronger? It was a frightening thought. The next floor seemed much more extravagant than the one before, though it still held the same white marble structure, ruby-red rug on the floor, and the same fancy gold borders on the walls. Rin had no time to look at them, however, though he did feel somewhat guilty for scuffing up the rug as he sprinted across the hallway. After what seemed to be a very long time of running, he came upon the door to the throne room. It towered above him, and the door looked as if it were made of silver, though it was likely just high-quality wood painted with the stuff. With the shouts of the two guards (Or maybe a couple more) ringing behind him, he pushed them open and burst into the room.
The truth was, Zexion felt as if they would break apart if they regained emotions. They would be weak, blinded by their folly, and unable to realize the true dangers. They would be all but lost, destroyed, and scattered. Emotions were powerful, but they cannot stand up to the cold might of those without hearts. It was almost as if it were his responsibility to save the rest, his goal. As far as he knew nothing was being done to break the Superior from his spell, and it seemed to be contagious. Taking a few more skilled turns, he soon found his feet touching stairs. It seemed to be the proper time to go up and talk with someone that had common sense, or some form of unfazed logic. He lowered his book and closed it shut, revealing a slightly tan face, half of which was shrouded by a mess of long, slate-gray bangs, and walked up the the next floor. Normally he would pretend to feel nervous, but now was not the time to play mind games.
The dark halls of the basement floors of Castle Oblivion lay silent and foreboding, and empty of any sort of intrusion, but not for long. A dark figure soon appeared from behind a corner, and strode down with a sort of casual attitude. However, he still carried himself with an aristocratic posture, one that almost instantly stated that he thought he was better than you. He didn't walk too slow or too fast, and oddly enough, his face was hidden behind a large book, which he appeared to be reading with interest. It seemed as if he would soon run into the wall, but he made a swift turn, avoiding it with skill. He knew these halls quite well; and although he would attempt to be modest, he was also one of the only members who could read while walking. 'Twas a nice bonus, considering his love of literature. However, Zexion was quite worried about the state of affairs in the castle. Everyone seemed to be getting...emotional. He could hardly even recall that word. To tell the truth, he would be horribly distraught if he had a heart. This wasn't like anything he had even heard of. Nobodies did not have emotions. Period. If this...development...turned out to be true, he would want nothing to do with it at all. A lack of emotions was much better anyway; there was no pain, or sorrow, or that horrid intelligence-wiping rage. Or even...love... He almost shivered as he thought of it. Talking to another member would be nice, but he would rather not risk catching their mania.
Oh no! That's unfortunate. But Roleplaying and the anime compensates quite a bit~! Still...no Harry Potter... ;-;
Er...Small recap, just any major events? I get the idea of it, but a little clarification would be good.
((Yay! So...I'm allowed to claim him? I just want to make sure.))
((I've been contemplating this for a while, and I must ask if I could claim Zexion. This Roleplay seems quite interesting...))

"Boy, we're here." The gruff voice of the driver echoed through Rin's mind. He hadn't been dreaming, nor had he been having nightmares again. However, this intrusion into his sleep came as quite a shock, and so the boy jumped awake, almost sending the cart off balance. He sooned regained his composure, and stared out at his surroundings. For one, there was the absolutely delectable scent of bread wafting all around him. He appeared to be right outside a kitchen, and as he looked up, he couldn't believe his eyes. The majestic walls of the castle towered right above him, as if it were looking down with an imposing, yet welcoming, gaze. Looking around even more, he glimpsed a door in the kitchen that seemed to lead inside. However, before he went he would still have to repay the driver; honesty before duty, after all. He reached down into his tunic, pulled out a few high-valued coins, and handed them over to the driver before he hopped out of the cart. He then proceeded to break into a now quite energized run and dashed through the kitchen. However, this caused a bit of distress from some of the workers. Was he daring to go inside the castle? He did look like a messenger, but at least most of those letter-carriers actually waited for the guards to take them in! However, for Rin this was his first time to the castle. For a moment, in his naivete, he had forgotten manners and instead concentrated on what he was soon about to see, and who he would soon see. He twisted the silver, spherical knob to the kitchen door, and then pushed, trying to open it. The richly-stained wood door did not open, but once he pulled it flew open with a good amount of force. One of the cooks was just about to shout out in objection, but the boy was gone already.
*Opens up portal to hell--I mean TWTNW and sukcs them all back in* Now you won't. But I might kill you if you don't look at mah RP. <.<
What about telling Number XII again? It's Xemnas, you disrespectful little-- Well Zexion, this is unusually amusing. Just kill me. Kill...
I deny that! Come on Puppy, you know it's true. I would rather join Sora than be in the same perimeter as you, Saix. Say that again......
