Jeffrey's eyes flicked to the left. I know it was a joke, but I'd rather not... "I think it looks good on you," Kairi told Riku. "It reminds me of when we were kids." She pulled some of her hair behind her ear. "I think I'll keep my long."
Jeffrey pulled part of his bangs straight down his face. Without being combed, it could touch the tip of his nose. "I could use a haircut, too."
"Okay," Kairi replied, wondering what Riku and Sora had gone into the rest area for. She grabbed a pair of scissors and began to trim Valerie's hair, making sure that the longer locks ended up even. Once she was done, there were locks of brown hair lying on the floor of the ship. "I made it as long as I could without everything being uneven. There's a mirror in the bathroom." She smiled and pointed towards a door. "I'm sure you'll want to be the one to decided if it's good or not."
"I can't wait to get to the Islands," Jeffrey told Valerie, petting Chester's head. "The closest I've been to somewhere tropical is Florida. And it'll be great to meet everyone there."
"Both of you calm down," Kairi tried to stop the two from fighting. "Arguing isn't going to do any good right now. We should just focus on getting to the Islands and try to find a way to get Eden back afterwards."
Kairi was still trying to figure out exactly what Sora was talking about. But her mind shifted at the mention of Eden. I didn't do anything to try and stop her... she thought guiltily. "So she turned into a Heartless again," Jeffrey said grimly. "Well, I knew she wouldn't betray us on her own..."
"Ah," Jeffrey said, understanding what Sora was implying. He walked over Valerie. "I think he's trying to say that..." He whispered something into her ear.
Jeffrey quickly sat up, his nap cut short. "What in the...?" "Well..." Kairi began. "If it wasn't us, and it wasn't either of you, then it must hav been.... Sora?"
"Yep," Kairi replied smiling. "It's been so long since we were last there. It'll be great to see everyone - Tidus, Wakka, Selphie, the mayor, your and Sora's parents... And of course, the baby will be able to see the Islands as its first sight."
"Uh, oops..." Kairi could feel her face turn red in embarrassment. "We're finally going to other worlds!" Jeffrey stretched out his arms. He suddenly let out a yawn. Walking over to the rest area, he plopped himself on a couch. "But first a nap would be nice..."
Kairi walked up to Sora and gave him a hug. "It's great to see you're still okay." She smiled and took her arms off of him. "It'll be great to see everyone on the Islands again. It's been almost a since we left, hasn't it?" "It's okay," Jeffrey told Riku. "He's hasn't really attacked anyone yet. Well, he bit Sora when we first found him, but besides that, he's been good." He bent down to pet the Heartless's head. "And he eats all the rotten food we need to get rid of!"

Kairi couldn't help but smile at her two best friends' reunion. "So what are we going to do now?" Jeffrey asked Valerie quietly enough to not interrupt the moment.
"They betrayed us?" Jeffrey repeated. I barely know Gexln, but I can't believe Eden would do that... Putting the thought away, he turned his head towards the rest area. "He's, er, in there..."
Kairi walked in and sat down in a chair, staring at her feet. Jeffrey glanced at Valerie, wondering why she didn't even look at him. He turned to Riku. "What happened?"
"No clue," Jeffrey replied. "But... is that a Neoshadow?" Kairi bit her lip. She didn't want to just let the Heartless leave without getting Eden back, but there was nothing they could do at the moment.
"Almost," Jeffrey replied. "Ayers Rock is in central Australia, I believe." He pointed to the area on the map. "We just passed over the eastern coast a minute or so ago."
