what's so bad about having a bad ending? the point of doing random duels is to have it be less obvious. it also makes it more realistic.
oh, that's not all. there's also the thing where we keep exchanging threatening roar's/waboku's until someone gets killed. non-random also limits the use of defensive decks, one half of the entire game. non-random is simply spamming threatening roars, wabokus, and S/T destruction until someone runs our of cards and loses. if I actually cared, I can be almost unbeatable without anyone being able to complain about it. on a side note, you do realize that we're doing this in matches, right? that lowers the chances of it happening since it's a best two out of three instead of just one duel. I understand what you're saying, but this gives people chances of winning rather than it being too one-sided.
Way better than using the same starting hand over and over again, or losing due to the fact that there's no way you can actually win against someone stronger than you.
Ren awoke. he was now standing on a large floating stone platform surrounded by waterfalls which ran up instead of down. above him were floating stone stairs that didn't seem to lead to anywhere. behind it was the empty castle, hollow bastion. OOC: yes, I stole hollow bastion. problem?
the platform Ray and Ren were standing on started to crumble. "I congratulate you for making it this far, Ren. as a reward, your time shall be restored to 144 hours. come to my castle!" a dark portal opens taking both Ren and Ray's body.
there's better things to talk about here.. like the idea of an RP with what we got on that test.
a big reminder that the RP is still going. Ray and Ren are still standing atop of the tall platform, supposedly in a duel.
oh, hey.. you can be my personal tactician. humans back then can't really defend themselves well against beasts and now combined with a little strategy, we'll be invincible!
just click on one of them.
First sentence of Necromancer: "Not content with merely killing his enemies, a necromancer derives pleasure in watching them suffer." You: and you wonder why you got that test result. Edit: oh, and also "evil in its truest form".
okay.. I answered slightly differently three to four times in that test.. and I keep getting this multiple times: I'll be sending an army of beasts to the people who kept doing "that". you know who you are.
nah, he just had the most time due to beating more people earlier and pausing happened.
fix'd.
the answer you seek is pretty complicated.
I'm assuming you meant dimensional fissure. in that case, the Madolche monster is banished instead of going to the grave and therefor was never sent there.. meaning its effect does not activate.[DOUBLEPOST=1357699104][/DOUBLEPOST] yes, and people thought synchs were too. you should try them before judging whether or not they're cheap.
you should maybe consider playing the new cards before saying they aren't fun for you. who knows, you may come across a deck you'll truly understand one day and will be able to build it effectively instead of netdecking. you may just have an extremely unique play style.
yes.
I win.
Justice you say?! well.. I paused it the first time where we waited for Rafael and Rienzel to wake up.. Rienzel challenged Ray.. he dies. Ray goes up to 48 hours.. he kills Xero.. meaning he gets more hours.. then I paused it because they didn't post an image and it would get messy if I didn't. after that.. I paused it so that I can put in a new rule for everyone to be aware of before they started dieing from lack of time.. it was to make it so that if you challenged someone, your time is paused for 24 hours, and if the challenge is accepted during that time, no time will be lost, whereas if you challenged someone and they didn't answer, both players lost 24 hours. people could have used that to save themselves, but.. I didn't see many people challenging. Ray survived not because I made it so that he survived for that long without timing out, but because he had a pretty large amount of time left over from when he killed those two duelists. the only time I specifically paused his time was when Ren and Star were dueling and there were no other players for him to take time away from. he would have died before the duel ended for him to challenge the winner. [DOUBLEPOST=1357451386][/DOUBLEPOST] (in an unknown location) Silly soul, that's what your brain does. also.. if you haven't noticed, you've been placed into a wall filled with other soul crystals. *he places Xero's Soul Crystal next to yours.* be grateful you get to speak with your old friend again before the grand finale.
the ground shook all of a sudden. the stone platform the two players were apparently standing on started rising. it stops after reaching about two hundred feet high. the crystals stopped counting down and they were both locked into a duel. (the sky also grew dark and it started getting windy with a bit of thunder.)
