I remembered how terrifying it was to look for a job when I was first trying to...after a while, I got a job at a place where a friend metioned would be able to hire someone like me (no previous job experience and a minor). It turns out some of my other friends worked there too AND IT WAS PERFECT. I went in, filled an application and about 2 weeks later or so, I got called in for an interview and after that, I got the job and started training. Before this, I had gone to several places with no luck. In one situation, I literally walked in and the people inside were all just sitting around and the place looked dead and I asked if they were hiring and they gave me this look and said "No"...it was so creepy, lol. But anyways, all I can say is to at least get your foot in the door, literally. You've got nothing to lose by asking around and getting references from friends, family, school mates, etc. I'm sure there is a place out there that wants to hire anyone, especially young people 'cause they have energy and are usually eager to learn and learn stuff fast.
