From this I guess you could conclude that Fearless' kira is someone at least decently skilled in the game (LilBueno's name isn't much of a secret and Midnight Star practically gave hers away) and Tikem's apparently isn't. /2 cents

KH2man seemed to be able to solve it, but I see your point. Oh, and I propose a rule. Since a Kira can just transfer the Death Note to a Misa or Mikami when a clue's released linking to him/her, should the Kira have to solve the hint first, then be allowed to transfer the Death Note?
