that is some messed up sh!t right there.i think i just got mind f***ed in the wrong way.
red and blue were fun for glitches.but i would say crystal.
i think there is another way to get mew in red and blue. 1.lose a battle on s.s anne(after you get cut and defeat rival) 2.get all the badges and beat the elite four 3.go back to the s.s anne with a pokemon that knows surf and a pokemon that knows strenght. 4.go to the boat launch dock and get in the water and go right,until you come across a van on the ground. 5.use strenght on the van and it should move and there would be a mew under it. not sure though,i have seen the van for myself,i just forgot to take a pokemon with strenght with me when i did it.
