Yes, gameplay is exactly the same, only new things have been added, such as new sleighs, new abilities, everything is in 3D, and it just all looks plain cooler :)

Guys, Decisive Pumpkin is the best. Just admit it, its awesome, combined with Combo+ x2, and Limit Form Zanzutken, takes off 2 life bars. That's why.
Fun, loads more abilities, requires more thinking and is overall fun.

Maybe it was a hack O.o But, maybe it was a beta gear that people thought was not needed, and got rid of. Or maybe it was too much data to fit into a cartridge :lolface:
Just for general reference, all games in Japan have O as select, and X as exit button/quit
Or, you could just equip as many combo+ you can, equip Sweet Memories, explosion, and guard break and just mash.
