It's most likely a world that isn't a world anymore. Like how people can become nobodies, perhaps the same thing happened with the world. Either that or the theory that it's an artificial world, which would mean that it's not a real world.

Doubt it, a Ven copy would still be pure light, and it does have an artificial heart, so not sure how that would work out. It might've worked if they made a Vanitas copy too.
Sora x Kairi's the only one that's remotely canon, Roxas x Namine is more of implied due to them being the nobodies of a canon pairing. Aqua x Terra is more like a pairing made by the fans.

I think it's more of Xehanort wanting to keep tabs on his enemies. It's like making sure Ven stays where he his though he knows it is very unlikely Ven would go anywhere.
No, again I still believe Xehanort has enough foresight to come up with backup plans to every plan he has. It might even go to the point that his Heartless decided to go back in time as a fail safe in case another one of his plans failed.
I like to believe that Larxene used to be a nice or spoiled girl, and that someone broke her heart making her act more like a b****, then she actually lost her heart, and she stayed a b**** ever since.
I doubt the heart could rot, and I don't think it was neglected for some members, they pretended to have emotions, which might mean they used their heart to some extent. Also, I', pretty sure Roxas could make a portal just like any other organization member.
