Maverick smiled as he followed Anora and Kel, a spring in his step. The youth put a hand on Kel's shoulder. "Hey, I'm guessing we're teammates now." Maverick said to him in a kind tone. "I'm Maverick, but you can call me Mav. You?" He asked, his smile unrelenting.
Alister listened to Skylar and Hickari with interest, smiling as the spoke about needing a third member. He moved from his spot and approached them, smiling widely with his arms out wide. "Hello," he hailed them, bowing low as he closed the distance. "My name is Alister..." the youth explained, for he wanted to be courteous. He introduced himself earlier, back when the rest of the Wielders have done so. Alister arose from the bow. "And I seem to be shy of two people. At this rate, I'll faill the Exam!" Alister added, his joke carrying a certain, unnerving weight. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sess flew Solace as fast as he dared, wanting to approach the World as soon as possible. The flight, once a delightful run, came to an abrupt end. Coming into view was a glowing blue sphere. It almost looked like water was surrounding a sun, so beautiful was it. However, upon closer inspection, a hand of Darkness gripped it, squeezing it tightly. White cracks were visible if they squinted, and from those cracks were black flame with sickly yellow lights. Heartless. Fortunately and unfortunately, Sess flew the ship too fast for it to slow. Sess gritted his teeth and turned to them. "Hang on tight!" He growled to them as he, too, braced himself for impact.

Maverick gasped for air as he, Anora, and Kel hid in the alleyway. "So much for adventure," Mav murmured, shaking his lupine head. After a moment had passed, an arrow pierced the ground before them. It had a note. Mav arched a brow and knelt low, grabbing the note. He smiled wide and handed the note to his female companion. "I believe this is yours," Mav remarked matter-of-factly, waiting for Anora to take the note.

Sess shook his head again, frowning. After Katia and Kaito entered the ship, Sess stayed outside for a moment, studying the ship. If I keep this ship, I'm upgrading the crap out of it. Sess thought, smiling. The smile fast faded as he entered the gummi, approaching the pilot seat. He began flipping switches and pressing buttons. "Hello, passengers, this is your captain speaking." He said, buckling himself in. "Welcome aboard the USS Solace. Today's in-flight movie is 'Star Trek'. Enjoy the flight as we soar through the Darkness towards Atlantis. Now please don't scream and enjoy the ride." He mocked, pressing the big, shiny red button. Solace lifted off, soaring from the docking bay and leaving behind the Land of Departure. As they flew, the trio would see the stars, which were truly far-off Worlds, much more clearly. It was all encompassing, a sight that would inspire awe and insignificance. All-in-all, it was a beautiful sight.

Sess looked at Katia, then to Kaito, then nodded. He wore a mischievous grin as he spoke. "Alright..." Sess said. "I'll drive. Just remain seated, buckled, and above all... don't shout 'Punch it, Chewie!'" He quipped. They arrived at the Docking Bay, where Solace sat waiting for them. It was a small red rocket with gold bands and bolts, with a single engine at its back. Sess looked at it with disdain. "By Nomura, it's hideous..." he muttered, shaking his head.
Alister watched the wandering Wielders with interest. He was tall and handsome, with a dark complexion and thick shoulder-length hair, which was a rich purple. His eyes were a mesmerizing violet, practically shining. He wore a black coat, dark blue jeans, a red shirt, and white sneakers. In his left ear was a red earring. He didn't join a group yet, but he planned to. The Wielder yawned and leaned further back against the wall, grinning with anticipation. (OOC: I slightly edited the Opening Story in the Sign-Up thread, so you all can get a little bit more insight about what's going on/what's going to happen.)

Alright... from what I've witnessed, starseeker is no longer going to be RPing here. He said he's leaving the forums, and even if he comes back, I doubt I'll allow him to partake in the RP due to the fact he'll be infrequent. On that note, Nikki will have to come up with a reason to not pair up with his character. Anywho... I like to thank all of you for joining and hope you all have fun. The story will definitely accelerate once you all leave the starting area ^^ EDIT: Also, Katia's group is at a pause until: Kaito responds AND when Skylar finds a new team.
