Genghis Khan never invaded a European country himself in his life time. The closest he got was Samarkand, in modern day Uzbekistan or Iran. His empire got as far as Georgia and the area round he Caspian Sea, but his general, Subodtai, who commanded those troops were called back before properly invading Europe, to finally conquer the rest of China.

And here I thought you had big, strong manly hands to grip the controller with.
I also presumed you had hairy knuckles, but that's because your Scottish, obviously.

(welcome back Kitty, I've missed bashing the scots on here : p)

The Shadow game? Or the Sonic battles one? I don't follow the Sonic games, they're fairly forgettable, let one the year.

    Jokes.
    Comedy.
They're an art form. They're like beautiful paintings or soothing tunes.
But just intending to paint a picture or create music doesn't mean it's good.
Sure it's music when you beat a drum in rhythm or a painting when you draw some lines, but it doesn't mean it's good.
Intending it to be a joke, working in the framework of a classic joke, sure it's a joke.
But it's not always a good joke.
Most jokes aren't good, they're usually bad. Because they're instinctive, they're not worked on, improved, learned from, they're just said and you have to hope that the first time hearing it means you get your desired response from your audience.

As such, trolls and the immature defend any joke no matter how bad it is. And generally they defend insults and shouting not jokes. Which is the equivalent of someone defending a five year old's crayon drawing. It's a piece of art for sure, but no way is it good. It could be the foundation of a good joke or even comedy career, but once in a millennia has anyone made anything good by blurting it out, scrawling it down without an edit process.

If you care about making a good joke, work at it before writing/saying it.

It comes with the console, don't ya know. I would say it's on par or better than the 360 controller which is saying something. I know a couple PC gamers who have been excited just for the controller. Worth the investment if you hate the PS3 controller.

That's not a contradiction. I said it could get repetitive like a DW, but Zelda's combat is already repetitive in its own right. At the moment it's bare bones, slash/stab combo and spin attack. I'd be interested in it expanding its combat but it could jsut end up like DW repetitiveness which has actually been improved on slightly over the years, but still falls short.

Do ratings have to follow super strict guidelines and happen at specific points in time? I'm allowed an opinion that you may dismiss at your own will, but i'm simply using the rating system as short hand to explain my point.
My impression is that it'll be an 8/10 game at best. Because i'd rate Dynasty Warriors 8 an 8/10. They're fun but superficially deep, with lots of repetition. This looks exactly the same as any game i've played coming from the Koei side of Warriors games. It's a personal perspective coming from someone whose played DW games since 2, the Samurai Warriors series and Orochi Warriors since their inceptions.

I could flaunt my Dragon's Dogma skills. So much nicer using the PS4 controller for it. But Share is Select, for shame.

If it's a concept of future Zelda games i'd be more intrigued, because the combat could use a bit more complexity, which would allow greater enemy variations too.
However, if the appetiser is a disappointment, it might leave a sour taste in some people's mouths for when they get onto the latest game.

This could easily be as repetitive as Dynasty warriors, they need to really push a lot of varying features and make it unique and not just a clone.
I don't really see the variety, i can't think of many characters that would be playable.
Questionable is all i think when seeing it. I think it'll be an 8/10 at best. Great fun, but not too much depth.

    Editing...

I would post my story on KHV, but I don't want it possibly flagged. If work you submit is found online using some special searching software, it could basically be flagged as plagiarism and investigated further. Which I honestly don't want to have to deal with. Christmas is round the corner and I have a stand up to do!

Oh I have about.... 5 I believe, now. I've done that before too, i'm starting to turn a nit more uniformed and professional. Strange terms to describe me. My mum should ne proud.

I get nervous every time I send my writing group my work, because I basically feel 'oh god they'll say it's ****, it'll be crap... but i'm really excited and hope they like it'. Honestly I just hope they'll get my allusions to this or that or the play on words, because that just makes me feel like i've done a good job.
And all writers (and artists) feel they're crap to some degree. Stephen King, JK Rowling, Oscar Wilde. It's because of The Judge. That little voice that tells you you're **** as a writer. Just gotta block the sucker out and delve into your work. I would offer to read anything you want, but honestly just too busy at the mo.

    Editing...

So I was conflicted by it, I'll admit. Now, I want to edit the eff out of everything I do.

My self esteem has been greatly improved after much belief that my work is ****, when my lecturer said "You can write, you're a good writer". And tried to reiterate that twice more in our conversation about my work.

So if you haven't seen me much around it's because of Uni work, if you didn't guess. I'll be back to regular broadcasting soon.
Meanwhile, listen to the latest podcast, it's the shortest one i've ever done, tell me if you like it.
