If people would still call you Amaury, then you would be trying to change your roots. Suppose you stopped going to Amaury and kept going to Hanzo for years from now on. Anyone who met you now would call you Hanzo and everyone who knew you before would call you Amaury. It's not just confusing, it's a big change.
