I second the Friday. But I work 6:30 pm to 12:30 am (which will really be like 1:30) on Friday and then 3-11:30 pm Saturday and then noon to an awkward 7:45 on Sunday. >> Busy weekend coming up.

Soul looked toward the sound of Black☆Star's yell. It sounded as though they now had something else to fight. He wondered if they should group back up with Black☆Star; if there was something over there that was dangerous it wouldn't be a good idea to have the kids near it. He sighed, rubbing the back of his head. This just wasn't his type of mission.

"The plant was poisonous," Merlie explained, placing her palm on Kirby's forehead. He was burning up. "Kirby got a lot of it in his system."

"'Mm fine," came Kirby's muddled reply, his eyes closed now. "Just sleepy...."

Colt heard the same thing everyone else did. He looked to Sekira and saw from her eyes that she had an idea of who was here. He, being from a street gang, would have loved to simply charge in and join the ruckus but it didn't seem like an option with Sekira around.

Terra rolled quickly away from Kid Devil's dangerous slash. She desperately wished that her shackles were off. "What are you doing?!" Terra was already sweating from the heat Kid Devil was exerting. A few more minutes in this confined space with him and Terra's body would overheat.

Elena lowered her arms and tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. Her electrically blue eyes lost their gleam of confidence, showing fear now instead. It was one thing to stop a crook, another thing to just whisk by for an autograph for her brother, and a whole other thing to explain herself to a member of the Justice League. People were beginning to watch too. "Just passing through." She'd meant the reply to infer the plan of an experienced nomad but it came out as the excuse of a clueless wanderer. Like the other few times she'd been confronted, she didn't volunteer a name for herself.

Very few people know where my name comes from, so I'll tell you instead of making you guess. xD Garxena was the name of my first OC on here; she was a nobody. She's stuck with me all these years -- some of my friends even call me Garxena at school. It translates to "girl who sees all." Ironic 'cause I'm not the brightest bulb in the box. Your pronounce it Gar- (like car) zee- (like the letter) nyah (like there's a squiggly over the "n" and then "uh" as the last syllable). Confused? Get over it.

I'm surprised we haven't talked about this yet: Episode 6. Y'all know what I'm talking about. So do you all think that Soul and Black Star's moment was just for fun or were the writer's giving doing something serious in a comical way? I think it's the latter. By those two [idiotic] boys attempting to be partners, we (the audience) learned some more about how partners get along and fight together. Very clever.

Just finished Full Metal Panic. It was okay. I thought Kurtz was the funniest. He kept the show alive for me (and NOT just because he'd voiced by Vic). Still wondering if I'm going to continue watching it. I'm watching a bunch of others right now too.

The ice around Terra melted faster than snow in July as she slid towards Kid Devil. She skid to a stop just short of Kid Devil's burning skin, luckily for her own. Her body temperature rose quickly from freezing from the ice to feverish from Kid Devil's heat. She rolled away from him, as much as she wanted to help, still bound by the constraints on her arms and legs. She huffed out a breath of air.
"Stop it!" Terra whirled to lock eyes with Icicle. "You can't do this to him!"

The cry from below caught Elena's attention. A jewelry store's blaring alarm assaulted her ears. So much for her peaceful day. "What idiot robs a store in D.C.?" Elena shook her head. Smiling, she let herself free-fall for a moment before using her control over the air to direct her path towards the man leaving the store with a sack in hand. "He's not even original." Elena commented on the man's ski mask and brown sack that was obviously holding the stolen merchandise. She slowed her fall so that she landed silently in front of the man. He'd been looking back and bumped into Elena at the speed of his run.
Elena raised her arms, pinning the man to the ground with a wall of air; a simple trick she used often. "So, what's your excuse?" The man just looked at her confused. He tried to move but Elena's air pressure kept him pinned down. Her jet black hair tumbled over her shoulders when she lowered her head to look at the man.

Elena always did love the way clouds felt. They were cold and wet, yet still had a charm to them. Who knew the simple combination of air and water could create such lovely, mystifying things? Elena floated cross-legged over the clouds, like she was sitting on a magic carpet, watching the world do its business below her. Today was quiet day for her. She hoped it would stay that way. One day without crime or danger, was that too much to ask? A kind, sad smile rose to her lips as she thought of her brother telling her "crime never sleeps." She knew where she was, whose head-quarters was in this city. Being here, the least she could do was get Batman's autograph for her brother -- Elijah idolized the hero. Now that Elena thought about it... "Batman has no powers, just like Elijah, and yet he still fights for justice. That's why Elijah likes him so much. Does he... Is he living through me and my powers?" She lay down as if there were solid ground beneath her and not air. "Huh...."

"Nice job, Maka," Soul followed his partner's lead, a couple kids trailing behind him. At least they were outside; now they had to find Stein and figure out what to do with the kids.

Kirby ran his wrist across his forehead; he was starting to feel dizzy. He looked down at his arms and saw the dark purple-green liquid had gotten into the cuts from the tongue and vines. His stomach knotted. He'd only seen one kind of poison -- back when he was in a gang -- and it hadn't been pretty. "Merlie... have you read any books on poison?"

Merlie's eyes went from Black☆Star to Kirby. He looked pale. "Poison? Kirby, you don't -- oh no." She took hold of his shoulders as he began to sway. "No. Kirby, cut it out. We have to stick together!" She repeated, with a different meaning this time.

Kirby's head lolled from side to side, his breathing rapid. "It's okay. I'm okay."

"You're not okay," Merlie countered. Her brain scrambled for something to do. What kind of poison was it? How was she supposed to counteract it? "Just keep your eyes open, okay?"

"Yeah, yeah," Kirby mumbled, leaning against the game booth as Merlie let go of his shoulders. He stared at the sky drifting in and out of focus. It was a weird feeling; his heart was racing but everything seemed to be moving in slow motion around him. Merlie's words became mumbled, like he was listening from under water.

"Sounds like someone's already here," Colt spoke up. He too heard the noise of commotion coming from inside the amusement park. And he had a feeling he knew who it was.

Terra squirmed inside the block of ice -- a futile attempt to get free. The injustice done to Kid Devil infuriated her. "Let me go!" She yelled; the thin ice over her mouth metled from Kid Devil's heat. She and Kid Devil weren't exactly close buddies like she and Starfire were, in fact she hadn't really known him that long at all, but he was still part of the team. Terra wanted nothing more than to land a good punch in Icicle's face. Maybe exposed to Kid Devil's heat close or long enough, the ice around the rest of her would melt. "I said put me down!!" There had to be something she could to do stop Kid Devil's pain, anything.

Here are the (rough) ideas of my tattoo possibilities. They'll all be in black (except for the green in the Omnitrix symbol if I get that one).

Haha! Soul is so funny in that!

If it was possible for Terra to get any angrier, she did. She was so close! Icicle hadn't let her walk, but getting out was still a good step forward. For the moment, she let herself be handled like an inanimate object. She would have loved to say something to Icicle but the chilling ice over her mouth blocked her words. Her mind worked together a more solid plan: Icicle had said he'd give her a fight. This was working in her favor. Hopefully the others were as clever as she was.

OOC: Yeah, it's short. ... Look for the pun! xD

The ice was terribly cold but it didn't cool down Terra's temper. The idea of trying to break out of the ice did cross her mind; but if she struggled she might just tip herself over. Terra's breath created a fog as she exhaled, hanging her head. Feigning defeat was her best plan at this point. If she could just act complacent long enough to get to her friends -- any of them -- she might have a better chance of busting out of her restraints. She bit her tongue to hold back the many curses she wanted to shout at Icicle.
Just stay calm. You're in control of this. Once you're out, you can take him down. Terra was very glad that the collar couldn't read thoughts, else her plan probably would have been given away. Head still hung, breath misting the air between her mouth and the ice, Terra answered, "I still say you're a coward. You're just scared that you'd lose in a fair fight."

You don't like tattoos? D= I have given this a lot of thought, and each of those four things will still mean a lot to me no matter how many years go by (plus, the job I'm shooting for doesn't care about tattoos).
