Yeah 2D animation has a problem with "too many frames" generally- like the Zelda CD-I stuff. The goal of animation is to make still key frames look like moving parts so like when you have too many parts, you lose the key frame. At least, in a lot of cases. I wouldn't be surprised if Xrd was 30fps animation but it makes me wonder if that hinders with the visual frame data (I don't have a better work) of low frame attacks.
