To me, unless I know my child is responsible and won't go off with strangers or do something dumb, I'll let them out. Really, my age would probably be 14? Yeah, but, gosh, there seems to be like child rapists everywhere - even in small towns. Just because nothing barely happens doesn't mean nothing's going to happen. Most of these rape and murders are the parent's fault of not protecting their kid. Not smoothering protection but enough protection so that they don't get snatched off the streets.

I'm twelve, and I've never gone out without a parent. Why? Because I don't want to be the next child rape victim. I want to live a happy productive life, not one filled with violence. I want the same for my kids as well. I live in Orange County, and a couple of incidents involving these situations have happened, and I've watched enough Cold Case Files to know the consequences.

I have to check, but it's at least over 9,000 HP, I suppose.

Well, please don't be creeped out by this!

It was like a week ago and I had woken up from a dream and I was lying in my bed. It was about 3 in the morning, and my television was on and it was quiet except for the sound of my dad snoring. My window is conviently behind my bed, and I had it open. It had been raining throughout the evening and it had stopped, so I could only hear the pitter-patter of rain droplets off the edge of the roof.

As I was lying there, a deep, non-male or female voice spoke in Latin, right in my ear. I was startled and lay motionless, because it sounded like it was right next to my ear and was staring at me. I had wanted to learn Latin, and was glad I hadn't learnt anything yet, because the words sounded very onimous. After the voice, my zebra finch Snowflake started screeching rapidly. I didn't say anything, because I knew a demonic entity was in my room. My TV started blinking on and off. I still didn't do anything. I turned over and closed my eyes. A certain chill rolled up my spine as if something had placed cold hands on my shoulder blades.

I quietly said a prayer in my mind, repeating it over and over again. In a few seconds, the cold diminshed, and the door banged up against the wall as if something had rushed out the room in fear.

Yup, that was the creepiest night I'd ever had. Pretty scary, especially the Latin voice. 0_0

I agree. I never really noticed that they act like they're "breathing" as they speak. I'll have to check that out. :D
