Did we get all those new cutscenes? Or is KH-Vids still missing some?
That's awesome! I'm actually working on a story right now. I am glad you are encouraging people to use good grammar! Great idea! :)
Was this confirmed? Just a tad curious.... The weapons they are carrying are probably keyblades. Why they need the other ones I do not know... :(
To tell you the truth, it is hard to put the themes into words. Chain of Memories definitely has a theme having to do with memories. KH2 I think has to do with emotion and the heart. The first I think has to do with the strength of the heart. But then again, I think there are multiple themes. Contrast to the other games is good! Loss and coping with it would be good themes to!
I noticed each of the KH stories have a different theme to them. What do you guys think the next installment's theme or themes are going to be? I was thinking about something along the lines of corruption, and perhaps forgotten memories. Any thoughts?
As much as I'd like for this to happen, the site did state in their preview of the game that Square Enix had not confirmed for a U.S. release. I've seen a few sites that list the game, but when you dig deeper into the information, they give you the real stuff. Same applies to this site. Sometimes a site will purposely put out false information to get people to come to site. Nice people, huh?
I remember that about Xehanort be half dead. Good thought! And you like Death Note! Yay! :)
I know, that's really wierd. I have loads of theories about the E.S. and why he hates Xehanort. Here's one: let's say that the E.S. is Xehanort for speculation purposes. If I was to go by this theory, I would say that the E.S. you fight in KH2FM is Xehanort's heart. In that way, his heart hates him for what he has done. I don't necessarily believe in that theory, but it is a possibility.
Okay, I know many people think the E.S is Xehanort. I am really not sure myself, but here's an image of the new render of Xehanort that Xaldin just put up. I hope you can forgive my crappy editing, but I changed the color of his hair and eyes to that of the E.S. I have to say, there are some close similarities. Another note: I did not chage Xehanort's facial features what so ever. This is simply a change in coloring. The pic is in the form of an attachment. What do you guys think?
True! I hope this means they're bringing it to the U.S.! :D
Ha! That's right! Sora did go to school for 14, well almost 14, years. That would suck coming back home from a huge and valliant battle only to go to school again. XD
Well Nomura said he already had the idea of the Knights in his head when he was making KH 2. However, thank you for bringing up the new Roxas vs. Riku scene. I totally forgot about that, and that is a good point. By the way, I am not taking a stand on this topic. I just wanted to discuss it! :) Cloud's sword was bandaged in both KH 1 and KH 2. In FF 7, it was not. I think Zack's was the sword that was bandaged, am I right? (can't remember) Besides, Cloud is not on original KH character. He is a character from FF 7. There is only a handfull of characters that belong in KH. Please keep that in mind.
XD So true about the Roxas look-alike! But having your arm frozen does hurt. Anything that cold would burn you, but then again, this is a video game we're talking about so I really don't think we should go with the scientific approach. That would be silly. :p
O.o Well, having your arm frozen solid would sound serious to me! Don't you think it hurt!?! :O
True. Game developers often add things to a character's outfit to give them a fashion sense, but occasionally they put these add-ons for a purpose, whether it be for symbolism or a plot purpose. For example, take the FF7 character Aerith. Why was her dress pink? Was it because Nomura thought pink looked good on her? Or was it because the color pink is commonly recognized as a symbol of innocence? This is exactly why I put this thread in speculation. There is no right or wrong answer, so it makes a good discussion, at least I hope. :) Another thing I'd like to add is that Riku wasn't wearing the bandage in KH 1 of KHCoM. It showed up after his time as Ansem. But then again, his whole outfit changed.
I agree with you, it is far fetched, Kanji , but many things like that came up in KH 2 that we never would have expected from our speculation of KH 1. I do have a theory as to why Riku has a bandage on his left arm and how it connects to the E.S., but I am saving that to write in the form of a fan fic, since I am better at writing than I am at explaining. Plus, that is not this thread's purpose. I am curious to hear what you all think of this! :)
That's what I wasn't too sure about though, ukali_rules. They really didn't have to add that bandage on Riku. Why would they put in a detail so minor to the whole character design? Seems rather a waste of time for the 3D deppartment, don't you think?
The E.S.'s left arm was frozen. In KH 2, Riku wears a bandage or something on his left arm. Could there be a connection?
Cool! I've just started learning 3D animation and design. I love it but it's difficult to learn. I really want to use it for character design. What program is this? Currently, I have Poser, Bryce 6, Mimic, and Shade. I am guessing this one that your using is for designing games, am I correct?
With the PS3's new graphics, I am sure the game designers will do something different. I don't think they'll change it too much, because the battle system is unique to the Kingdom Hearts series. Not once have I seen another game like it. I just hope they don't do something like Final Fantasy. As much as I love the story of those games, the battle system frustrates me terribly. Anyways, I am sure the new graphics will play a huge part in the new battle system for the next KH installment.
