Nobodies are made when the body loses it's heart, but when Riku was controlled by Xehanort he lost his heart (that went to the other side of kingdom hearts) but his body was still controlled by Xehanort's heartless so it couldn't go off to become a nobody. And when Xehanort was destroyed Riku was in control of it again. yeah, that's what i think XP
