Life is just a series of numbers and 8 digits in a line that flip faster as you go right, it's depressing and mundane and arbitrarily meaningless. It's a problem without a solution and too many variables to count and all the a's and b's and c's spell out "mystery". Is it exciting or humbling to know the mystery thickens with every year we live? It's a cry in the night from a child multiplied by the sum of our hopes and our dreams. And let's face it, it all equals you and who you were and who you will be. It's all a number. It's all a sign and a value, a concept in our heads that says "This is more than that", "I am more then you."

But you sir. You are a Capitalist. So it works. Happy birthday you American bastard.

Asian has nothing to do with it really, the show itself had the cultures resemble certain nations and races as a form of differentiation and a way to form parallels between our world and the world of Avatar.

    Fire Nation is Chinese
    Water Tribe is Inuit
    Air Nomads Caucasian
Earth Kingdom was Phillipino and a combination of the other 3 nations

No, you obviously don't understand that it's not that the show is meant to be Asian, it's the fact that Shyamalan wants to make the movies as close to the cartoon as possible, I would assume the first step would be hiring actors that actually correspond to the correct culture specified in the cartoon.

BUT. If all the actors weren't American, the major demographic for the movie(American children) would have less of a connection and wouldn't enjoy it as much.

Like in FF12, Basch was always meant to be the main character of the game, but when they screened it for the major demographic in Japan, they said "No! We want someone young and pretty". And Vaan was created out of thin air to appease the Japanese. Yeah, it ruined the game, but fuck did it SELL SELL SELL.

Wasn't this basically the plot for "My own worst Enemy"?

A show that looked like shit and was shit and got canceled because it was shit.
