"Ugh, I hate this," he said pulling at his tie that was now choking him. He sighed and gave up. Slinging the pack onto his shoulder he went into the school. Denzel was already at his locker, unpacking his things. As he shoved a notbook and binder inside he wondered what the new school year would be like.
Kairotu nodded. "Good, you can let it go now," he said. "That was great for your first time. Keep practicing or rest which ever you feel you need to. I will fetch us some food." With that he was gone, running through the trees like a deer. Exuro snorted and spiraled upwards, right into the sun.
"Good!" he said. "Keep it going as long as you can, when you can't just let it go."
"Yes....and...no..See you have to feel it and focus your power. Bend the word to shape what you want it to do. Give it a try, but you may feel a bit tired afterward. Don't worry, its normal."
Cilix grinned and walked in behind him. He grabbed a bowl for Nate and ladled out some stew. He offered it to him and grabbed his own.
He chuckled and dropped the bark, kicking dirt over it to put out the flames.

"Oh? Well then its settled. Magic first." He picked up a small piece of bark and said in a loud confident voice, "Brisingir!" The bark burst into flames. Exuro followed him in the dive, spinning to get more speed. He tagged him and then pulled up.
"Hmmm...what t start with...swordplay...magic...hmm...what would you like to start with?" He cocked his head and waited for her reply. Exuro blinked and then flashed his fangs in a smile and shot off toward Requarth, aiming to get him.
He nodded once, pleased, "Well, now that we are here why don't we start your education of the ancient language." Exuro flew quietly behind them.
He smiled. "My dragon will join yours, he aches for company." Just as he spoke a mighty roar split the air and Exuro flew over them. Kairotu walked over, though it was more like dancing, and examined her eyes. "Fine work..but it won't hold forever. If you and the other man accompany me to the elven capital then the elves might be able to heal you for good."

Kairotu walked over to the boy and put a hand on his brow. He mumbled a few words in the ancient language and then stood, unfazed. He smiled and turned to the girl. "May I?" he asked, gesturing towards her eyes. He wanted to inspect how the boy had performed.
She nodded quietly and began to stroke Olcan, whose big tail thumped slowly. "These...creatures..they attacked me on the island...," she shuddered at the memory but continued on." They were...bleach white and came up to about my knee....but there's something else....they swarmed me and I was buried under them.... While I was buried under there I said something but in a language I never knew...I still don't know what I said or how I knew the words.
Yokshikuni was on his balcony when he thought he heard a voice but dismissed it as nothing. He sighed and propped himself up on his elbows against the railing.
He smiled kindly. "Well thats something we'll have to remedy, right?" He walked over to them but remained standing.
Kyanru looked nervously, remembering the last time they attacked. She watched as the boy looked around and then close the door. She nodded in response to his question. Olcan sensed her worrry and whined. He lifted his head and then stood up. Padding up to her, he sat down beside her and laid his head on her lap. "Another world," he replied mysteriously.
Kairotu looked surprised. He swiveled to face the girl. "Do you not know the language of old?"
Kairotu dashed through the forest, faster than any human, with an unearthly grace. He passed by a clearing with the same riders so he decided to stop and say hello. He stepped into the clearing and smiled, his teeth flashing in the sun. Clearly they were mates, these two, and that made him happy. To see two people who could love each other.
