No Vanitas Love? ;( I like him. For many reasons. I have yet to grow very attached to the other two, but they are certainly interesting characters.

Steel watched silently as the group had various problems with "Luna." How they failed to notice her black hair and red eyes was beyond him, but he found it sad that no one noticed it wasn't her. "Alright then, "Luna." He grabbed her arm and pulled her over to a pillar. He sensed Luna's power returning. He turned to the others. "Give us a second." He stated. The two vanished behind the pillar. He turned his attention to her. "We're staying back here until you snap out of it." He whispered calmly.

So, just to make sure we are all aware, I shall restate my purposes.
This is, in essence, Steel's journal.
This is for fun mainly. It is to show the story from Steel's point of view from when he appears in the story, onward. As this is just for kicks and has no effect on the story of SOS, I'm letting up on his power limitations a little. Which is to say that things he never specifically does in the rp are revealed here, and you get a bit more behind his logic. How this will all be organized is something I'll go into later, but it will basically be a table of contents in this first post, so feel free to leave your comments if you want.

I'm going to base most of what happens on the entries on what happens around Steel at the time, and thus number them based on which of my post they are in the thread. For other worlds, I might make entirely separate entries, and label them by RP page numbers or actual in thread post numbers. I will put all entries in Spoiler tags. I'm not going to make the transition from one entry to another noticeable, as there is not exactly an easy way to tell day to day in SOS, so mostly the events of each entry will just be separated by the time it's actually posted, and they'll all run into each other as though I never stopped writing in the first place. Lastly, I am not sure how often I will get around to this, as I'm nearing the end of my school year, and wasn't exactly keeping up with my other writing thing. (It's seriously almost done, I just have yet to actually FINISH the chapter.)

    Anyway, here is entry 1:

I left the castle early this morning.

As I had originally planned, I put Tyson and Aura in charge; despite the events of yesterday. Aura still seemed mad at me, but she at least held out her hand for me to shake. I tried not to reveal the hope in my eyes as I accepted, but it didn't seem like it mattered; she was distracted. I have no doubt that she will soon leave. I will be sad, but it's for the best; she deserves to live a life safe from all this nonsense. It saddens me really; the fact that they all do. Unfortunately, she is the only one who can leave it all behind.

Putting those gloomy thoughts behind me, I slipped on the mask I had prepared, and departed through a dark corridor. As I stalked through the darkness around me, I reflected. I reflected on the mysterious letter, on my new weapon and it's powers, on the turn recent events had taken, and on the foreign presence within the darkness. This last one was a new addition, as I could sense that amongst the usual creatures stalking about within, there was a new one that didn't belong. Upon reaching the end of the tunnel, I quickly decided that this was tied to the crisis of time described in the letter, and that the mask didn't have enough light for me to take the time to investigate.

So with one last look at my surroundings, I delved into the new world that lay beyond the exit.

Upon my arrival, I was quite surprised to find that the world was in perfect balance. There was no more light than darkness and vice-versa. To find such a land is rare. Upon my arrival to this "Land of Departure" I ran into two beings that I later learned were some of my companions. One was a young girl, crying over events that transpired before I had become involved. The other, a young man who attempted to comfort her. He arrived after I did, and I decided it may be best to hide and observe the two.

It's relatively short, but I just wanted to kick it off.

TIME. TIME IS THE KEY. TIME IS the reason this came out somewhat half-baked.
Anyway, I did the best I could to get this done without taking too long. But I also think I might not have put in as the first one. Oh well. Again I would like to say that you should all feel free to post your thoughts, It'll keep the thread nice and recent or whatever. I... yeah okay.

As I was observing the girl- Luna- brushed off the boy's -Kel's- help, and proceeded to call me out. She apparently felt my position based on my Aura. The power to sense my Aura... I analyzed her own Aura just to be sure, and sure enough found that she held the power of the moon within. Luna said that I should introduce myself to the others in the castle before walking off, leaving me and Kel behind. I appeared out of the darkness next to Kel. I wasn't really sure whether or not he was surprised, though it would be a common reaction to be startled for at least a brief moment. I was still wearing my mask, so that probably didn't help anything. I promptly removed it, introducing myself and trying to be as polite as possible.

However, my attempts meant little, as Kel was more concerned with Luna. He greeted me politely before heading off towards the castle. He was focused; good. He would likely need to be. Especially considering my track record. Of course, it could aslo just be that my natural existential make-up repelled him, as it no dobt will at least some people. Deciding to focus on that later, I made sure to split off and sneak a bit of myself into his shadow; I would need to analyze the members of this little masquerade a bit more if I wanted to get anywhere, and heaven knows they would tell me anything about their

personal lives. I would get Luna later. It seemed the two of them were awfully focused on that castle, and Luna had said that the other were there.

I figured it must be their headquarters, so I tucked the mask away; as I was certain I would need it again later, and with a strangely maniacal smile on my face, proceeded to walk towards the castle. As I arrived, quietly behind the other two, I became witness to a young soul making a rather idiotic statement, in which there was little purpose. I promptly told him that his logic was completely illogical, and he apologized with a greatly embarrassed look on his face.

The boy -Etrius as he introduced himself, seemed to be of the darkness; like myself, and I could tell and innate understanding instantly passed between the two of us. We started our introduction over on a somewhat better foot, and It was revealed to me that my castle was at least somewhat known to him. This shocked me greatly, though I hid the severity of it. . My castle was very different from other worlds, and to know that it had appeared to others at some point in time gave me something to think about.

    Bask in it's insufficient glory!

Steel nodded at Base' instruction, and opened the door. As he led the party out of the castle, they soon came upon the other Party on the road just leaving the castle courtyard. As they approached, his gaze fell upon the "Vampire" mentioned earlier. His eyes briefly widened, but he quickly wiped the look off of his face. "Vince..." He thought to himself. The man didn't seem to recognize him, so he could safely assume this man was from a different placement in time than the friend he knew. As the group drew even nearer, D'daear asked if he knew anyone in the group, but he remained silent. The events that followed could quickly be summarized as following: Karina quickly made attempts to pick a fight, as per her nature; Eon gave a sigh and greeting that said: "I hate you, but tolerate you because you're on our side. Be grateful worm." and the entire group continued to make various obvious conclusions as though they actually required 10 seconds of thought.

"My Allies." He thought in a joyously sarcastic tone.

"Perhaps our time would be better spent forming a plan." He said aloud.

We'll need to warn his highness, as Gaston -does- indeed pose a threat. We should consider seeing what we can do about checking up on Maurice, as it's better than leaving things to Fate." He sneered in contempt at the thought, though, as always it was hidden by his scarf. He continued. "Lastly, Gaston will be coming after Belle, and who knows the size of the mob he's bringing." He hoped no one would notice that he wasn't supposed to know that. If they did he'd come up with a lame yet logical excuse. "So we'll need to protect her."

I calculated that before my level up. HP seems right, but strength was 7 before lvl. up and 8 after, so I think it should be 11(+5) now. I would be very grateful if you could fix that. Please and Thank you.

Steel nodded to Belle from across the room, still leaning against the pillar. He stood straight once more, and started to walk to the door when he seemed to pause in remembrance. He turned around to look at the Beast. With an elegant movement of his hand to his breast, and a bow, he respectfully stated: "Sir." With that, he turned back to face the door and walked slowly over to Belle. He crossed his arms and rubbed his shoulders as if he were cold; and perhaps he was. His familiarity with the situation made him slightly uncomfortable. He could sense the groups' allies were coming, but he wasn't sure how that would bode for coming events.

Steel clenched his fist silently as Base and Krowley made their inquiries. He tried to be silent about it, but he was sure his metallic gloves gave off a clanking sound, if ever so slight. "It's none of our business." He said silently with his head bowed. "We do what he says; no questions asked." He leaned against a nearby column. "As soon as she's ready, we go." Steel knew his mood change was sudden, but he didn't care. He looked down at his attire. The seven crosses dangling from his belt, his large metallic gauntlets, even his boots had claw designs that made it look no different than if he were wearing some kind of foot armour. If they hadn't figured he was an oddball by now, something was wrong; he never made any attempts to hide that much.

Steel managed to hear Beuce's comment. "Remind me to offer to hurt him for her later." He paused. "Or at least, Offer to help her hurt him." Kai, as the comment was obviously directed at him, responded with a curt "Of course sir." and Steel continued to analyze the entirety of what was said. On one hand, telling someone to not be emo usually just made it worse. As for this vampire... Steel's brow furrowed. He wondered about this person; he could sense them of course but he couldn't be sure of -exactly- who it was without further evidence. As the group seemed to be on their way to the castle, he supposed he wouldn't have to worry about that, or a few other things, for much longer.

Steel chuckled softly as Base wondered aloud about 'Hikaru'. "If you haven't figured it out, I'm not telling." He turned to the aforementioned person as his keyblade faded into white light. "Well Krowley, what's our next objective?" He asked. "I'd hate to disturb the couples' happy moment, but after what just happened, we should probably check on them." He paused. "Of course, It's your call." Steel mainly wanted to remain silent because he wasn't sure if Hikaru was ready to tell them yet. Even if it was obvious now, it was also still the rules of the order, and even if Base did figure out, every person who knew could make a difference...

As likely as Hexin's idea sounds, I have always thought the World that Never was, in essence, a nobody world. Ignoring the obvious meaning, I mean that it is the nobody that comes from a heartless. Since the worlds have hearts, logic always followed to me that the End of the World, as "All that's left of the worlds taken by the heartless" was a heartless of those worlds. Since it stands to reason a World heart would be strong, a Nobody would follow. So I basically thought that the World that Never was is the Nobody of the End of the World.

Steel rolled his eyes at "Luna's" comment, as he sliced a gargoyle warrior in two. "Yeah, because Luna always has black hair and red eyes, and we haven't at all noticed her tendency to go berserk and attack friend and foe alike. You must think I'm -really- stupid." He turned to a knight and a warrior behind him, and initiated a barrier surge. Transparent crystals surrounded him as he leaped forward, shimmering with light as they repelled the two heartless statues. He landed and jabbed at them both, eliminating two more enemies. He looked around and noticed the astounding lack of statues in the grand hall: there were 5 left. "He decided he had the time to turn back to "Luna". "You don't know us. You don't care about us, and you don't even act like Luna. How can you possibly intend to replace her? Should we be comforted by the cruel laugh she never had before? Should we be happy to realize that her problems just vanished without any form of closure?" Steel shook his head as a knight snuck up behind him. Without even turning his head, he sliced his keyblade through the attacking opponent. "Insolent creature..." he muttered quietly. It was implied that he wasn't just talking about the heartless he had obliterated.

I never really thought about it. I just kinda thought White I guess. I suppose it could have gold and/or silver markings too, but I'll leave that to you. Thanks!

EDIT : Oh, and I don't know if it's important, but the hair is shoulder length.
