If you lay back to see what happens, there's always the possibility things may get worse. However at the same time, you want to carefully plan out your next moves and make a list on advantages and disadvantages of that plan. Make the necessary changes to strengthen you government, whether it be the election of new leaders or new policies to be enforced.
That poor girl... I'm glad those kids got suspended. Hopefully you can talk to you friends about what they did or find a different crowd to hang out with. =/
