I bought Black. (Awesome Fire type) :D I would have bought both but a friend of mine decided they were going to get white so yep. But yea depends what features you want for whichever game dude.
I really like the fact SE decided to re-release this game for the DS, it's quite fun and enjoyable. Which now reminds me that I have to replay this game, I havent i such a while. :D
Retro = FF3, I love most of the music and I believe it was one of the first FF I thought to be actually quite tough. Modern = Probably X or XII, mostly because those had the most obscure places to begin with, and seems like it would be a really awesome place if were real
IMO Overrated: FFVII, God of War, Call of Duty, Medal Gear Solid (I feel so shady since I play all these games :P) Underrated: Dragon Quest, Devil May Cry, Fire Emblem, Golden Sun, FFXII, and II.
I've only played the GBA versions, recently I was thinking about getting the latest DS one: Shadow Dragon. Since I don't own the GBA ones anymore, I'm pretty sure I've lost them -___-. Other than that the games are fun, not once did I ever get bored playing them, although I haven't played them in a long while I wouldn't mind buying them again, since their such great games.
Overall I believe Xion, wasn't nessessary for the story at all. Apperence: At first thought she had some sort of connection with Kairi, (apparently not) Personality: Similar to Kairi, bland character. Role: In the game, very annoying, but eventually I began to enjoy her character. Importantce: Well, a connection to Sora, so it must have some importance, and not just about his memories either.
Short, but decent overview of the new characters style. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hM3qUkKU4xg
A mix of both magic and just regular attacking, I find works best for me. Sometimes vary on what enemies am fighting, to use whichever strategy works best.
I began to wonder why there wasn't a Minecraft thread yet already... but anyway the game is pretty fun and simplistic. I remember the first time I played I collected everything I needed to build for my first house; wood, samplings, coal, crafting resourses...etc but unfortunately it began to get dark, and next thing I see is two random spiders out of nowhere kill me. :{ - Skeletons are the worst though. -__- This is definitely one of those sand box games, that are worth trying out. - It's cool seeing other players create similar worlds from games. Like I've seen Zelda and Mario sprites before. I haven't bought the game yet, just played it over a friends house.
Gabranth, for the original playthrough of the story I used Warrior of Light, though I'm extremly anxious to try out the new chracters as well
Terranort, -___- against Aqua, a person who generally uses magic, and not physically strong made the fight against him quite difficult. Ah well got through it though :D
I've played Gutair Hero and True Crime, they were okay games, but can get boring after awhile - when I first heard the news I was pretty surprised but on the other hand honestly I knew those games weren't going to last that long.
I swear I thought Cheren was a girl xD
Uh oh the top of my head I'd say: Girls Bravo. ^ I agree about High School of the Dead - it was just obnoxious - couldn't even finish it, I stopped at like the 5th episode...
Though I wouldn't mind getting this, it's funny xD
Just having him as a playable character for KH: Dream Drop Distance will be fine by me, a game centered around him... I can see it happening since the franchise has pretty much turned into fanservice. But I don't think they should though. :/
*Raises hand* yea both versions are cool, definitley much better than 358/2. Felt that it was a little short though, took me 30 something hours to finish. :/
I took her out in a few hits using magic mostly, before trying to defeat her I recommend just finding an area where there are a ton a heartless and get yourself stronger.
Oh Sony... >.> Awesome I will for sure be getting this, finally with two analog sticks, and please sony not let this be a flop like PSPGO
When I first played FF I've always felt that it can be overwelming since there are so many, including there spinoff series. Anyway, I say start out with the Crystal Chronicals series since there exclusively for Nintendo systems (which you have listed). On the other hand, for the main series I'd start out with the GBA versions of 1 and 2, mainly because there fairly easy and will take at least 10-14 hours to finish.
