It did give off a redish hue or red aura. I think it's the night effects in the vid thast made it look blue

Nomura wants characters he designed. That's why you don't see any from before VII. Setzer is only there becasue Nomura did most of the design for him. I would love to see Rinoa because Leon looks so lonely and I hate seeing people pair him off with Yuffie. That's my least favorite pairing of all time.
