Well, California certainly needs it this upcoming winter. Maybe the rest of the West will get some of it, too.

Last two weeks and this week so far, keeping a note that I've been waking up between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. (Between 11:00 PM and 1:00 AM is supposed to be my unofficial bedtime, but... I haven't really been following that as can be seen.)

The city did a controlled burn in order to prepare for the annual Fourth of July fireworks show and now they canceled it and moved it to New Year's Eve--they say postponement, but I'm just considering--it canceled because a bunch of concerned citizens had to voice their opinions and the city listened.

Why was it canceled? Because conditions are hot and dry and there's a high risk of wildfire danger, as already seen by Wenatchee and Quincy, though those were human-caused. Um, hello? Every Fourth of July has been hot and dry, but there are always firetrucks on standby, which means it's impossible for any potential fire to get out of control. In addition, on July 4, 2013, there were heavy winds, and yet they continued on with the show then. That was more dangerous.

People are cowards. What they fail to realize is that the fire danger is just about the same because now people will do fireworks illegally.

This is more of a query than support seeking.

I updated my passwords earlier, and on Windows Live Mail, my safe/blocked senders reset. Is this expected?

Based on this rejected bug report, is this possible? Obviously it is on the CSS side as seen in KH-Vids 8.0 and by inspecting the elements, but is it possible at a user-customizable level with BB code?

It's one measly second, though, so it's not like it's going to do anything--just leave it at June 30, 11:59:59 PM > July 1, 12:00:00 AM. They're just wasting their time with this when they could be focusing on more important matters:

Here's another interesting one. I've noticed it before, but I've only recently begun doing deeper research into it.

When the allies use regular attacks, they start attacking too early and don't got close enough. The only reason they're able to land hits is because after the first time they attempt a regular attack, they are moved forward a bit. In the case of Donald and Mulan, it also happens with their Donald Fire and Mushu Fire, respectively, abilities.

Look at 4:32-4:37 for a regular attack miss and then look at 5:42-5:55 for a Donald Fire miss several times in a row here:

At that point, Donald should still be using Donald Thunder or Donald Blizzard if he had it before that boss, which he doesn't.

It's like the developers just chose a random, "Okay, when the AI is here, we'll just have them use this ability, but for regular attacks or abilities with a shorter range, we'll just choose this spot and won't take range into account." As far as I know, this wasn't an issue in Kingdom Hearts.

Once again, what do you guys think about this and a possible reasoning, whether intentional or not?

As we know, invincibility frames were added like crazy in Kingdom Hearts II. One of those areas was allies' abilities, likely because the developers realized the problem with no invincibility frames for abilities in Kingdom Hearts. The most famous example is giant Ursula, where Ariel pulling off a successful/full Spiral Wave attack was pretty infrequent.

For some reason, Auron doesn't have any invincibility frames when using his Healing Water ability. At first I thought it was Auron himself, but his Divider ability has invincibility frames. Then I thought it was that his Healing Water animation was the same as his using an item animation, but Simba and Riku, the other world allies who have healing abilities, use the same animation when using their Healing Herb and Cure Potion abilities, respectively, and when using items, and they have invincibility frames.

It's not exactly a problem, because when using an item, which doesn't have invincibility frames, if the character, including Sora, is interrupted, the item will not take effect if the interruption is right at the beginning, but it will take effect if it's already been thrown in the air. Both scenarios are the same with Auron's Healing Water; however, if it's the former, it'll still consume his MP, whereas the items just go back in the characters' inventory, where they can be attempted to be used again if still needed.

Here's a demonstration. Pay close attention to the two times Auron attempts to heal Donald with his Healing Water ability--he fails the first time and wastes 99 of the 100 MP he had at the time. He got some back, though, thanks to being hit and MP Rage. :p I also show a demonstration of Auron being interrupted, but successfully using Healing Water on Donald because he wasn't interrupted right away.

What do you guys think? Do you think it could be a bug on the developers' part? (@iwantedtoexplode, what do you think?)

Edit: I've brought this up before indirectly when discussing other ally related things, but I've never officially raised a discussion about this.

When the background shade of a profile post is dark gray, like in my profile post, the slightly darker gray seen in Misty's comment ("go ahead...") is hard to distinguish from the profile post background shade. When the background shade of a profile post is a lighter gray, like in Ghost's profile post, the slightly lighter gray seen in Ghost's comment ("I hope so!") is hard to distinguish from the profile post background shade.

I can tell they're different to separate them, but they're very hard to distinguish.

This is not a problem on KH-Vids 9.0 [Light], possibly partly because of my other bug report regarding something similar. The profile post comment background shade is noticeably more distinguishable from the profile post background shade.

I suspect this is a consequence of the change made to make user tags distinguishable on posts, though it's happening when looking at signatures on profiles as well.

It's fine when previewing messages and signatures.
