It's a hardcore nostalgia seller. Personally, I would love a remake, but the current projects take precedence. And the "10x longer" is just an estimation they're making because this is something that is brought to them every single day. But I'm not saying it wouldn't take about 5 or so years. They could save time by using the original scripting. They would just need casting for it, most of which has been taken care of through the spin offs. /babble
If they're trying to stay true to the game, they need to make Ashe stop complaining so much about being weak. Don't remember her constantly saying she's weak that much, if at all. They somewhat have the characteristics correct, but they're making them quite overbearing in that aspect.
