If not for his sake, then Roxas's, who told him he would like for the three of them to have ice cream together. He definitely knows how much Xion means to Roxas, even though he takes it begrudgingly. It isn't hard to see what will happen once the whole truth gets revealed to the blond boy :/. He does get irked at times when they spend time away from him. I know the feeling of the new add-on, and usually, when that happens, the only important friendship that matters is Roxas, because that's the one he's vying for. You don't see him get the same way with Xion. And if he didn't mind the other two's friendship, then he wouldn't be getting all irritated in the first place. We all know that Axel has a soft side, so he would be cordial and get along with Xion, considering the "girl" has done nothing to him personally and makes Roxas smile. Plus, add in the days with so much unhealthy ice cream consumption [seriously...], and it will really be put through that you get used to it, and care about her to an extent, at least. It's not that he hates or dislikes her, it just isn't as strong. Think like a classmate you spend the school time with, but never really hang out after school. Hence, a friend of a friend. That's the way I see it. I keep getting the vibes of "distance" all the time when it comes to him and...her/he/it/whatever in their scenes. I kept getting it even from the trailers get-go.
Taww. You know they were teasing him, no ill will [I'm not sure if news about Axel's survival already passed]. They were the only ones that felt for him when he had to return to Sora. Its fits with Xigbar calling him a cat/kitty. He's like the little brother, so he's going to get picked on. I like that kind of thing. And it also proves that Xigbar and Demyx were, indeed, close. And I understand why Demyx in the missions runs away, part of his character. Xigbar, I don't know. It does go back to KH2, though, in The Land Of Dragons. Sora gets distracted, and then Xigbar is not by the door anymore. Yet, when you pan in on Sora, and see from behind him, you see him sneaking off xDDD. Man, that was hilarious to me. And yeah, that was weird. Three days? o.o The game felt like a year. And what did happen in front of that mansion? I know that Axel and Xion were about to fight, but I never really got the reason why. Was he on orders? Was he pissed off? Granted, the feeling that Axel was always distant from Xion was there, and it was obviously not the same as it was with Roxas in friendship [Xion was more like...a friend of a friend], so I keep pondering what was that about.
Awwww, that's so cute. Xigbar and Demyx, I think, were of the few that really got to know Roxas, and the ones who, in the novel, cared the most. It's nice to see that in this game. And was Xion already tapping into her Sora skills by that point? Because, pack that, with WTF Ven distraction, and you have a knocked out Xigbar. And Axel just left him? xD
I didn't like that scene. Only because it was so random to add into the whole Ven connection, when it could've been done more subtlety. We already have Roxas and Xemnas for that. But I guess they needed to add it to Sora as well, so they chose his clone. And they picked Xigbar to have a face flashback to strengthen his connection. Makes me wonder if we'll see his other self in BBS. It was too bad that made him distracted enough to lose. ...what? o.o
I just hope it's pronounced "Leh-ah", and not, "Lee-ah". Or just plain "Lee". Actually, here's something: You can't really blame people for it being highly, highly unpopular for a guy's name. Lae sounds more manly. Why couldn't it be that? Why Lea, even though it can be used a boy's name? Darn you, Nomura. Darn you and your girly-like names for guys >.<.
