The NeoShadow hummed again, trying to convince the darkling to come into the shadows with it. "Fledgling, come with me, my master is stronger then these fools. Many hearts will be rewarded for servitude..." it purred, and her eyes narrowing to the mention of the group's new destination. Master will be most pleased to hear this...

The NeoShadow found little to go report to Master about, but found something else. A little Shadow, fresh and unprotected, and so she hummed the language of the Heartless, calling the fledgling to it. "Hush little darkling, come to me..."

The NeoShadow bowed to the respect of Gexln's wishes, and hurried off into the darkness, going to locate the Keybearers as told. Within the world of darkness, all shadows were available, and the gummi was no exception. Staying within the ground, peering through the shadows, it heard all.

The Neoshadow shrugged. "I go where you go. What does my Master wish? Do we follow the Keybearers, those who have hearts stored in blades?" It bowed, ready to accept the fate of servitude. She would make sure her master was pleased, and gratified her, to make her feel at least whole.

Heartless, especially NeoShadows, have this excellent sense of smell. And it was very handy for finding hearts for miles around. "My Lord, another KeyBearer and human are coming. I cannot hunt in such an open place for so long. So may I ask, humbly, that we run till another day?"

"Who is this 'Eden' human they keep bickering about? I am me. No more then you, no less then my shadow." The Neoshadow quizzically chirped, but didn't dwell on it too long. Living in the moment, but still wanting that meal in front of her, noticing a princess of heart as well. If it could, the thing would drool.

Sinking into the shadows were the best defense, but not the best way to go ahead. The spell even protected them from the dark. So, with no ability to do anything else, it went back to Master, angry that the meal was lost behind arcane forces.

The NeoShadow fired herself up, but the double enforced shields did not break. That never stopped a Heartless, with it's persistent need to feed.

"It would break my little HEART!" The NeoShadow whipped it's streamline body back against Oblivion, trying to take an advantage.

The Neoshadow relished in it's new privilege to consume. Charging with fierce precision, she ran a straight beeline to the Halfling. Claws sharp, body skinny and whiplike, it was going to feed.

The Neoshadow sunk into the ground, emerging beside her Master. "Thank you Master, I am forever your slave..." With a bit of a purr, it glared back at Riku and Valerie, hungry. "May I eat their hearts, please?"

The NeoShadow, to it's extent, bowed to Gexln. It chittered again, once more swearing loyalty to Gexln. "I will fight until I fade, I will serve you until you are bested. Until then, You are my Night of No Stars."

The Neoshadow hissed back at Riku, thankful Master hadn't allowed her fading. It struggled further, giving another tiny whine. It wanted to keep to Master. "Master, please, release me and I will serve you!"

"What friend? The one at my core? It is what I use to live. I do not care if the heart is used up within my dark ways. I will relish in the power it gives me, so that I may feast thoroughly upon more hearts." The Heartless gained some emotion to show, only sneering with slight victory. "Halfling, I consume hearts, so trying to convince me to do otherwise would fall under Master's job."

The Neoshadow growled, clicking it's tongue in thought. "Halfling! Do you wish to join the enemy? The light that burns us will murder you too! It is only a matter of time, Halfling." It clicked further. Trying to understand why it was held hostage. It just wanted to feed, was that hard?

"Master, you cannot be serious! You want me to be subjected to the light?!" A tiny whine escaped the NeoShadow with a great deal of nervousness that it would only perform under drastic times. It hissed in some pain, still trying to ease it.

The Neoshadow still struggled, trying to wriggle it's way free. It did ease up a bit, as the light was farther from it's core. It had started to form into a more humane mass, but at the moment, it was still a dark being. "Master, please! Help me, release me from my own dinner! Why must I be held from my first prey?" it clicked and hissed, glaring at Riku most. "Hafling. Halfling! One stained of the dark, but chooses the light, how do you live with your heart intact when we only wish to feed upon it?!"

With another internal scream of pain, it hummed a yes. It was almost converted, and it was harder to understand the almost garbled English and Darkness languages. It wanted to go and fight against this ever burning, reverting light, but alas, it was to cold for her to do so. "The light! Oh Master, it is cruel!"

"Master, this light, it is burning me! My Great Leader of the Dark, release me from this heart's grip! I wish to feed, and this human will not allow me to do so!" The Neoshadow struggled further, trying to bite Valerie's arms, a fruitless effort while it further screamed in pain, but the darkness was dissipating and the form of Eden was revealing itself.

The Neoshadow struggled further, almost producing the sound of a frail whine. "Master, please! I beg of you, release me of this awful light! I wish to consume it! I am here, my Superior, do you not see my plight?" It struggled further, only to be scorched by the light Valerie's heart contained, which on the physical realm was a silent scream, in the mental realm, it was very very real.
