I used to be frightened of dying when I was very young(around 6-7). So scared in fact, that I refused to go outside for a period of time due to my fear of having a fatal accident of some sort. But then again, if you think of the notion of death of old age, it's actually quite a good thing. It makes us want to make the most out of life, before our time comes where we may have to leave into a second life(not that I'm saying I believe afterlife, however I would most certainly hope that there is). Sorry for being slightly off-topic.

The "reader thinggy" you're talking about, is the lens. Either that, or the motor. To answer your question, replacement lenses and motors are sold online, but that means you would have to go under the hood in order to use it, which in turn would invalidate your warranty(but I take it, that it expired years ago). As for changing the region, I don't know what you're talking about there. It is possible to play region-restricted DVDs(Action replay MAX allows you to do this), however you seek a modchip in order to play PS2 games from other regions. Hope I helped.

I only fight to either defend myself, or others that I care for(which aren't many). Usually I only resort to fighting when somebody puts their hands on me first, in which then I will try and restrain that person, rather than hitting back full-on. The only other time I would resort to fighting, is when I am in an extremely bad mood(in other words, on the cliffside of breaking down) which doesn't usually happen. So yeah.

I used to love that game. Now I'm more into ultimate spider man, but eh. I was surprised that a movie-adaption-game could be so immersive(seeming that most movie-games turn out completely sh*t).

I simply do not believe that there has never been a thread on this game series. No, seriously. I'm really quite surprised. Well, here's the long and short of it. Metal slug, is a run 'n gun game series that had it's first installment, Metal slug, released in arcades in 1996. So far, the game has spawned 8 sequels and a variety of spin-offs on portable game consoles(such as first mission, second mission). I'm pretty hectic about this series as a whole, as one of the installments, Metal slug 2, has remained to be my most favorite game of all time. Plus my Username is pretty much based on the game. I'll post some videos for the sake of it. Metal slug 2, Mission 3, my favorite mission in the entire series. Metal slug 1, Mission 2. So, discuss. Anybody else heard of this game?
