What's on second, I Don't Know is on third...
Yup, me too. And on school days I had to get up at 5:30 usually... so I operated on no more than 5 hours of sleep a night my last year of high school... it's a miracle I passed.
Haha, I don't think I've gone to bed before midnight for the past two years... regardless of school/work the next day.
Wait, the Duck-Ray's from the third one. My bad. But it turns the monsters into ducks, and when you level it up, they become flying, fireball spewing ducks. Hehe... I have to get Future Tools though, to see which weapon is better... ;)
Does it beat the Duck-Ray from the first Ratchet and Clank?
LOL :D I think people would throw eggs at me on the street if I did that. ...oh, wait, they do now, anyway. :p
I'll try to absorb some of sorafangirl's good luck and bring it with me to the hairdresser's... ;) Did you get it coloured too, or just cut?
Stitch does. :D But nobody I know does... although my mom played the accordian and my friend plays the bagpipes, hehe...
Haha, wow! Way to go! :)
Okay, thanks for the tips! I'll get it done soon and post pics of the result (if my computer can handle it). If they butcher it, eh, oh well. I hate my hair now anyway. Plus it grows almost annoyingly fast, so it'll be back before I know it. I think I at least have the right hair type... so it shouldn't bet too bad. Wish me luck!
Haha! I just remembered my Ruby Weapon mistake: I was flying above it in the desert, taunting it. My sister was with me and I was all like, "Haha, stupid weapon stuck in the sand!" And then... I flew a little too close and... well, I'm sure you can figure out what happened. Needless to say it ending with instant annihilation (not to mention humiliation) on my part.
I actually though about KH2 Kairi at first... but I think I like shorter hair better. Plus, for some reason I can see more disatrous results occuring with the KH2 cut. What shoudl I do? Should I show the hairdresser a picture of Kairi / Kairi cosplayers or something?
I had Slash-All on Cloud in FF7 and went to the underwater sub to train. One of the monsters confused Cloud, who then proceeded to attack himself. His Slash-All caused him to attack my entire party, doing a cool 9999 damage to us all, aaaaaand game over! :( Needless to say, I gave Cloud to status-preventing Ribbon after that.
So... I hate my hair and want to cut it. So... I though I'd cut it short like Kairi on KHI. Good idea? Bad idea? What do you think? :)
*recovers from being hit with a birck* Haha, you guys are all great! :) Thanks again for all the welcomes; like I said before, I shall post as often as my computer will permit me to!
Kingdom Hearts: ANSEM: It is futile. The Keyblade alone cannot seal the door to darkness. Kingdom Hearts! Fill me... with the power of darkness... Supreme darkness... SORA: You're wrong. I know now, without a doubt. Kingdom Hearts... is LIGHT! Kingdom Hearts II: "If I had a heart, this would be where I'd die of laughter." - Saix "That was undeniable proof that we totally OWNED you lamers." - Seifer Almasy HADES: Did you forget who you're talking to? I am the Lord of the Dead! AURON: Heh, no wonder no one wants to die.
Just a thought on this topic: As soon as you go back in time, you would be removed from the timeline. You aren't suppose to exist in the past, so you are defying the laws of space/time by doing so. So even if you changed something that would result in you not being born, you would still be able to go back to the present, exisitng by whatever means enabled you to in the past. And then what? Would you never die? You would probably stop aging, due to the fact that you are now exempt from the laws of time. Now then, to answer the actual question: No, I wouln't be able to do it. The littlest thing changed would have dramatic unpredicable effects. For example: You go back in time, and hold the door open for someone at the grocery stoe. They are then able to leave the store a full two seconds earlier. This causes them to approach an intersection two seconds earlier, just as the light changes yellow. Even though they originally stopped at the light, with their two-second head start they go through, as they will now make it before the light goes red. Somebody coming the other way is rifling through their glove compartment, doesn't see that the light's red, and collides with the person going through the intersection. And I'm sure you can map the rest out for yourself. The person you caused to have a traffic accident with now either be injured, dead, or simply late for wherever they were going. And things will continue to change and spiral away from the orignial timeline, all because or your act of courtesy. So imagine then what would happen if you changed somethng much bigger; like stopping someone's death. You would change so much more that you set out to, and then possibly live forever with your desicion.
That's why I was so confused! I though about the Disney influence before, but all the other games from Japan I've seen have the same thing as this one, and they aren't all made by Disney. But I guess the Disney-ness plus the everybody-speaking-english-ness combined answers my question.
Okay, I see. That makes sense, thanks. :) It just seems kind of unfair to a Japanese person who doesn't speak English... but I guess that's a rarity over there. I live in Canada where we learn French, but hardly anybody is bilingual because they don't really teach it right. So if a game came out half-English/half-French, it really wouldn't go over well. So I was assuiming it was sort of the same thing... but now that I think about it, I guess it's not. If that even makes any sense, haha.
Okay, so I'm going to apologize right now for this horrible question. I'm sure the answer is something obvious that has already been discussed, but it's been driving me crazy so here we go: Why is there so much English in a Japanese game? This includes many games other than Final Mix; there will always been words like "Menu" or "New Game / Continue" that are predominantly in English. It looks almost like the game was originally in English and translated to Japanese, with a bunch of unnecessary things lieft untranslated. This obviously isn't the case, so this has always baffled me. So, yep. That's my horrible n00bish question. *hides in a corner to avoid getting shot*
