Yes. With your own rips you get to control the quality of the video used. Furthermore, the videos downloadable off the main site are in 320x240. If someone needs/wants to use a larger video size for whatever reasons, it would be best to rip it direct him/herself so you get the full 640x480 or 720x480 resolution.

Alright, thank you for your advice. In the original video it was done in this style, hence the "a style tribute" in the title, but I should think about making my own take on Phoenix someday and take your advice on it.

Well, you know, sometimes the video-maker wants to see a portion of the interactive content handled his way. For example, YouTube user Nunuu made a video of using only Eternal Session to bash through the final Mansex battle. That is something not covered in the videos here. Recording your own footage allows you to tailor your own individual take on doing things rather than be "constrained" by what is available by default.

Well. It has been a week and I have seen threads bumped for less, so this is fair game I suppose.

Glad to help. I think you need to attach your console's AV cables to the audio and video IN ports on your DVD recorder, but that is what it looks like for me. You might need a different method...?

On the other hand, you might experience latency issues with that. This means that the displayed video lags behind what is actually happening. In that case, you will need a splitter or coupler or composite AV lead and connect one end to the TV, the other going to the DVD recorder.

You need to connect your console to the DVD recorder, as mentioned. Turn on both devices and start your game, get to the event you want to record, then press the record button. Do what you need to do. Then press stop. Remove the recordable DVD and transfer to PC. Rip.

There you have it. Easy enough in theory. The challenge comes from the initial connection, but everything is smooth-sailing after that.

*Humble bow* Why, thank you very much. I try to avoid being too clear-cut in matters of fictional morality so as to elude easy stereotyping and provide complexity. My only fear is that such a morally ambiguous character as Suffix will be too difficult for shadowjak to write well for.

It is possible to wire up your console to a DVD recorder and record onto DVD-/+RWs, then use a DVD ripping utility to get your footage onto the PC. I have done it, but attempting to explain how to do the connection is beyond me. I had help in doing the connections.

Well, my idea was to create a sympathetic character. An "anti-villain" if you will, whose drive to do evil extends not from maliciousness or traditional cravings for power but as a twisted form of revenge on the "good" guys for their past wrongdoings committed on her. You know what she is doing is wrong, yet you cannot deny that it is justified. At the same time, her desired outcome, an anarchic world where mutual cooperation eliminates discrimination, is "good", yet her actions to achieve such a benevolent result are "evil".

It suggests an extension of the vicious cycle of hatred and adds an element of ambiguous morality to what normally is clear-cut, as most RPGs would be. The player must wonder if the ends can justify the means, or is such a claim foolish no matter how desirable the "product" is?

    I did my best.

There was no fully-pulled back braid option or choice for white hair. The coat needs to lose the high collar and gain yellow trim. The dress needs that yellow strip. The face is not sufficiently like my intended design.

That said, I think there are makings of a final boss there... Though I doubt those skills will be enough for one...

"quality"? As in what, difficulty? The KHFM Xemnas battle was crazy compared to the ones in KH2.

My ssstyle has always been to refrain from sticking to an element where possible.

Mezame. Best song ever from the excellent anime that is My-HiME. Listen to the first discernible, English-sounding line. Find thy answer.

My preferred Raid-type Sleight, if I have to pick one, would be Judgement. Adhering to an element is not my preferred way of doing things.

I always bring at least two 27 Zantetsukens, one 27 Holy and one 27 Omnislash (thanks to extremely boring working of the Moogles >_<). At the back of the deck, I normally include three sets of 0, 0, 9 Attack cards so I have access to both 0s and Ragnaroks. Sometimes I bring Cross-Slash+ and Mega Flare. 9 Elixirs are vital to my deck due to heavy Sleight usage.

Sonic Blade becomes quite useless on storey 13, but it makes for easy Pirate genocide. I always put in at least two if I feel like visiting Neverland.

For Marly II, I used three 10 Holys with Double Sleight, three 10 Mega Flares and four 10 Omnislashes with Summon Boost, as well as two 9 Elixirs to get my Sleighting power back.

Yes, that is what you want to do. Save your Enemy Card hunting for until you have beaten R/R and have nothing better to do, though, it is extremely tedious work.
